Everything tastes like it has starch added for texture.

Not good at all. Spend your money elsewhere. Candy is bought in bulk and resold. Ice cream isn't homemade. Everything is overpriced.

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! They have so many varieties of yummy chocolate candies plus other non-chocolate candy options. Their ice cream is delicious! Its always the first stop when our grandkids visit or whenever we have a sweet craving. One plus is that they stay open through December! They make chocolate covered fresh blueberry candy that is absolutely delicious, plus I always have to get myself a bag of chocolate covered Gummi Bears too! And if you feel adventurous they have Lobster Ice Cream! This place is a must go!

TASTYYYY! Had some awesome ice cream and really fun experience. The shop is so quaint and darling. Tons of hand-dipped ice cream options. Tons of candy options. Don't skip it!

Great ice cream with lots of choices. This place is loaded with everything chocolate you could ever imagine. Absolutely a classic touristy fudge and ice cream shop, but it was really good. The place had a huge line, yet it moved very fast. We only had to wait about 15 minutes during peak evening ice cream time in the middle of the summer.

I love going here whenever I'm in the bar harbor area which is only once every few years. They have almost any kind of chocolate you could imagine. I believe they're also famous for their lobster ice cream but I have never had that. I love going in and getting an assortment of little truffles in a box to nibble throughout my vacation. Loads of flavors. Something for everybody. It's a bit of a cattle hurting feeling the way you have to go in and go clockwise and it feels a little disconnected from the employees who are behind the walls. But hey, if that works for them then cool.

An icon, and the best ice cream in town in a crowded field. I could have had Chocolate Tsunami every day for a year and not gotten tired of it. Vacation pricing, but portions are correspondingly large. Brought home a box of dark chocolate maple creams (sold amusingly in quarter-pound increments, like lobster) which were unsurprisingly excellent as well.

We were directed here by our hotel when we arrived and I did think it was quite good. They have gluten free waffle cones which is amazing! The only downside was how expensive it was. I wish I still had my receipt because I remember just being sticker shocked. The line is very long but they are quite efficient about getting everyone through in a timely manner. We were in Bar Harbor for a couple of nights and we only felt the need to come here that one time.

Super cute ice cream and candy spot right in heart of Bar Harbor. They have every type of sweet treat you can think of! I went here 2 nights in a row and tried a total of 4 flavors, all of which were creamy and delicious. Friendly service and a semi-retro vibe makes this a fun after dinner spot!

This place is tor most popular ice cream place in Bar Harbor. There are plenty of flavors but what makes it stand out is the Lobster Ice Cream!!!

The fry dough with blueberry is a must! Cool looking shop that catches your eye immediately with the colors, the chocolate fudge at the door and the huge lobster figurine in the front. It's a bit organized and hectic in terms of how to order since the sign says to go left but people go eighth since some workers are free and taking orders. My friend and I thought it was a bit inefficient. Large selection of fudge and ice cream but I came for the fried dough. Saw some other people trying it and immediately wanted it. The fried dough was hot and the blueberry jam was sweet and flavorful! Definitely a highlight for Bar Harbor! We got in A La Mode and it made it even better. The best way to describe it is that it tastes similar to a funnel cake, but better!

We went twice this weekend and thought the ice cream was good. You pay a lot for this product. The u-shaped waiting line is not good and a bit claustrophobic. You can’t see the whole menu until you’re ordering. The menu needs to be re-organized for clarity and the middle wall replaced with belt barriers.

Lots of options for homemade candies. I tried their lobster ice cream. I highly recommend this flavor, but only getting a single scoop in a dish. It is worth the price. I love ice cream, and this is a great spot for it.

This place was pretty neat. They had the widest array of desserts and Ice-creams. Everything was a little pricey, but it tasted good. The place was pack, so the staff was kinda short with us and rushed. However the ice cream I got was good and we left happy!
