Great ice cream with lots of choices. This place is loaded with everything chocolate you could ever imagine. Absolutely a classic touristy fudge and ice cream shop, but it was really good. The place had a huge line, yet it moved very fast. We only had to wait about 15 minutes during peak evening ice cream time in the middle of the summer.
I love going here whenever I'm in the bar harbor area which is only once every few years. They have almost any kind of chocolate you could imagine. I believe they're also famous for their lobster ice cream but I have never had that. I love going in and getting an assortment of little truffles in a box to nibble throughout my vacation. Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate! They have so many varieties of yummy chocolate candies plus other non-chocolate candy options. Their ice cream is delicious! Its always the first stop when our grandkids visit or whenever we have a sweet craving. One plus is that they stay open through December!
