“No one does lobster better. I literally plan trips to Maine from Texas for their delicious, hot & buttery lobster rolls. I’ve had so many other places, but comparatively, they all let me down. This place knows how to do it. Do not miss out!“

“This restaurant was hands down the favorite of both my fiancée and I on our trip to Maine. The house special was the best lobster roll I’ve ever had and their scallops are outstanding. Every employee was extremely kind and the service was very fast. Indoor and outdoor dining options were both great and the ice cream boat was a nice way to round out the evening. I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“As a foodie this is one of our favorite restaurants in the area, enough so that we have celebrated special occasions such as my birthday last year here.

We would come even more if there were more vegan protein options on the regular menu such as a vegan meatball dish instead of or in addition to the regular meatballs and/or some kind of vegan protein special on the regular such as the amazing tofu dish we had once.

Providing some kind of vegan dessert that isn't just a water based sorbet would also take things up a notch since none of the desserts are currently vegan/gf.

“We hosted our wedding welcome party at Project Social in October & we could not have been more pleased with Cody & his team. Not only were the appetizers, cocktails and private garden area fantastic, Cody was a pleasure to work with from the very start. He was incredibly accommodating to our needs, and helped our vision for a tapas style welcome come to life. The food was incredible (lamb meatballs, beef skewers, a fantastic 12 foot charcuterie board) and the staff was so attentive and helpful. Personal touches like games, blankets, and the fires kept our guests (including children) happy and entertained. Thank you to the Project Social team for an incredible evening that we will always remember as a special part of our memorable weekend!“

“You must eat here! The atmosphere is lovely and laid back. The drinks (and mocktails) are wonderful. The food... the food is fantastic! You can't go wrong with the apps, but the Dilly Pickled Veg is the perfect little zippy snack while you wait for your dinner. The entire dinner menu is truly inspired. The bang bang fried chicken is always a personal go to... but I opted for the Crab BLT tonight and was blown away! My hubby had the Lamb Shwarma and practically licked his plate... the pita alone was a light, fluffy delight. If you order the fries, which you most certainly should, get the garlic aioli... you'll thank me later, it's also good with the lamb. ;)“

“We had lobsters at Happy Clam and it was the best lobster shack during our trip! Lobsters were tasty and big and you have to try their blueberry pie!

Kid-friendliness: Bean bag for kids to play on site and big grounds for them to run around. They have kid friendly (non-seafood) options on the menu.“

“My fiance and I went to Bar Harbor Cellars (speciffically the restaurant) this afternoon and it was the best service and food we've ever had. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpfu, and overall came off very genuine. The view from the patio overlooking the gardens and pond was beautiful as well. My fiance and I got the Orange Wine and the Hunters pizza and both were amazing! I can't wait to go back one the tasting room opens!!?“

“You're going here for cocktails. Do they serve beer? Yes... But that's like ordering grilled cheese at a seafood place (nothing wrong with the beer selection though). Understand this, the place is busier than it looks and making great cocktails is an art. This isn't a beer slinging joint where a order is compete in 60 seconds. Be patient. You're likely on vacation anyway. If you want to see a professional mixologist/bartender/artist, go to the Cottage Street Pub. See Cassidy (dark hair, teal highlights). Enjoy her professionalism and appropriate amount of sass. Cassidy mixed up FANTASTIC cocktails for us Monday through Thursday (July 17-20,-2023) (yeah, you read that correctly, we went four nights in a row). Not only did she mix the cocktails, but she mixed up great tunes the entire time as well. Read all that again, don't waste your time on beer here, get the cocktails. Learn the bartender's name, it helps to grab their attention when they are herding 100 cats. Hope you get Cassidy as your professional bartender! I'm sure the others are great, too.“

“Delicious, well crafted ramen. Love all the vegan options. The bok choy was perfectly charred and all of the different types of mushrooms were uniquely marinated to perfection. Also love the mission of the restaurant, with profits going to feed the community and those in need. Don’t let the simple atmosphere fool you, the culinary experience is top notch!

“Very nice atmosphere in this coffee shop. The barista was kind to me and the drink was ready super quickly. I tried blueberry lavender cappuccino 20oz. Highly recommend for those who loves coffee as much as me. Adding something new to the traditional and becoming different is so amazing. I will definitely try another flavor.“

“This is a very small & adorable quintessential elegant place. Its seat yourself, we were immediately greeted by Trevor, who makes you feel like you have been welcomed into his home! We found a 2 seater table in the back. The venue is not large. beer and wine are on tap. Oyster of the day is the selection. This days choice was bar harbor blondes. 12 is $43. These are the best fresh oysters right off the boat. You do not need anything on them. Perfect shuck, too. That said, you can not try the gorgeous shallot mignonette. OMG! We went back again!“

“Amazing place. Kitchen is open until 11pm which is a blessing! The staff is super chill and the food is amazing! The pulled pork sandwich is fire and so is the burger. Definitely check it out when you’re in town!“

“The best homemade ice cream around“

“Overall, this was a great brewery experience. The staff was super friendly and attentive. There wasn’t a lot of seating in the shade, but there was a lot of seating in the sun at tables with umbrellas. This specific Atlantic Brewing location is paired with Mainely Meat BBQ, which means only meat eaters will have food options here. The beer was fresh, but did lack a few beer style options, like Belgian styles, ciders, etc. I posted a picture of the beer menu (which could change). I LOVED that they had a create-your-own beer flight option! All in all, I’m happy I visited.“

It's a new family favorite in Bar Harbor, and I have converted to loving seafood and the raw menu because of the loft! The ahi tuna nachos were a hit all around and a big recommendation to try! Parking: It’s on the Main Street and spot. So, difficult to find parking though there are street parking and parking lot nearby“

“On our annual camping trip to The Ha Bah we spun into town for a beer. Stewman’s accommodated us on the deck with our 4 legged friend. Opal was an excellent server who brought water for the dog first. She took really good care of our thirsty crew of 7 from midcoast Maine. Highly recommend!!“

“my friends and i came here after the fireworks on the fourth!! biggg yum and i am so happy that we did. we decided to get four appetizers: spicy cheese curds, nachos, 1/2 dozen sweet chili thai wings, and lobster creme waffle fries. all of us tried the mdi blueberry drink as well (might’ve misquoted the drink name lol sorry). we HOUSED all of the food big yum!“

“My wife and I enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio. I had the Bayview IPA, their signature hazy IPA, which was so good I had two. We each had dinner specials, a 14-oz ribeye for me and a 1.5-lb lobster for my wife. The service was excellent, and the meals were expertly prepared on a wood grill. My steak was sliced and on a bed of seasoned fries with mushroom sauce, and I actually did not finish the fries. My wife has not tried lobster for many years, and enjoyed this one.“

“We were a bit nervous at first, the staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable with the new experience. We are dog lovers so feelings were obviously mixed. It was nice to hang out with dogs while we ate, however, we couldn't help but feel a little guilt. We will definitely try dog meat again, Jack Russell cuts were small, juicy and tender compared to beef. I would recommend the burger or wings. It would be nice if they had other dog meat to try as well, maybe Pug or Dalmatian. We will certainly be back!“

“Stopped in for a quick ice cream while walking around Bar Harbor. Service was quick and the ice cream was great! Their prices are steep - a kids ice cream was over $7. They have a variety of flavors. The maple walnut was really good. My son tried the lobster ice cream - which he described as vanilla with lobster pieces. The store also sells chocolate, candy, and fudge.“
