“Small warm welcoming space in the heart of Bangor. Atmosphere is warm with modern sensibility. Nothing over the top of stuffy. Staff were friendly and fast. Clean and organized place with bar sitting and dining tables. The appetizers are as pretty much big as an entree.I recommend any seafood, especially the mussels!Parking: The Bangor parking garage is across the street, which will probably be your best option. The street where the restaurant is pretty narrow and is mostly for 15 minute parking during day hoursWheelchair accessibility: Does have a ramp to the entrance and main dining area.“

“I was on vacation with family and we were super hungry and hoping to get a good Philly cheesesteak. We had decided to try this restaurant and while it was a little pricey the food was excellent. I'd actually say it had to be one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had. They also play good music thats not your annoying typical pop music. Definitely recommend and will be looking forward to eating there again :)“

“We wanted to try a new restaurant and saw Umami. We started with a gyoza appetizer which hands down I will say it's the best gyoza I've had in Maine. For a meal I chose to try the pork tonkotsu ramen. The broth was awesome very flavorful but overwhelming at all just delicious, perfectly gelatinized egg yolks and a melt in your mouth pork that kicks with a tasty flavor. My wife chose to build her own bowl with a curry broth which she has deemed a staple for the next time we stop in. Great boba tea and sake! Will definitely be back!“

“Everything about Mason's in Brewer is so great. The service is always awesome, and the food never disappoints. I have a fairly severe food allergy, and they're always so good about it and aware of how to accommodate it. “Been here twice while driving to Bangor. Both times were great! The girls that work there are always so nice. I tell them what I'm looking for, usually a breakfast item with a dairy free speciality coffee. And they whip it right up! They understand their customers. Sausage bagels here are really good too. And they're quick. Pretty much everything a coffee drive-thru should be. Worth stopping by.“

“I love Fam Dog! It was the first restaurant I went to when I first came to UMaine and constantly return. Their brunch menu is delicious! However, I like to get the xolo chicken sandwich. They have gluten-free buns and are pretty good with allergies, but they have a shared fryer for fries. They also have really good ice cream, milk shakes, ciders, sodas, etc! It is a bit pricey, but entirely worth treating yourself. I get the same sandwich every time and it never disappoints.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Buns“
