This is a review of the restaurant. Staff were not happy or welcoming. Everyone in our group liked their food, but my burger came very well done, when I had ordered it med. rare. I didn't send it back because I didn't want to wait any longer. The fries were delicious, however. At 6:30 pm they were already out of fish and chips as well as the baked haddock. I rated it 4 due to everyone else having a nice dinner.
Fantastic, awesome!! We had dinner at this pub and it was the BEST specialized hamburger I have ever had!! And I am in my 50’s. It was made fresh, sauce was unique, the bacon from a butcher. Just top of the line quality. My husband got the steak special and he literally cleaned everything on his plate. We were very impressed. The staff were just so friendly. It’s small, just a handful of tables. Reserve a spot if you can!!!
We stayed one night in the balcony room, which I highly recommend. Very cozy with a small fireplace. The location is convenient and parking was free. The breakfast was fabulous and the server was so attentive! Highly recommend. Tip: there is a leave a book, take a book section on a shelf there if you would like to share.
