It’s not easy finding vegan offerings in Bar Harbor, and the fact that a seafood heavy area has a restaurant with vegan cheese for pizza is admirable. Unfortunately, they don’t have tofu or any other non-animal protein sources for toppings, but it was good with spinach. Also, the fries are all weirdly cooked in duck fat.
Yesterday my daughter and I were excited to take my husband to Blaze as we had such a great experience previously. We had our lab/Pyranese mix Tucker Lee with us. Sam, the bartender greeted us and she proceeded to take our orders/make us drinks. We enjoyed our meal and enjoyed the music next door. Tucker Lee Sat at our feet watching his surroundings and waiting for some treats from us. He let out a little bark 3 times. They were quick minor barks looking to go make friends...
Bar Harbor is not the easiest for vegan food but this pizza was fantastic! Just ask for the soy cheese:) Lots of seating, friendly staff and good drinks. Brought the dog too! (Our smart server mentioned lots of the food, fries and brussel
sprouts are done in duck fat) - big heads up.
