What an excellent dinner we had! Our waiter was soproper and excellent but still made us roll with laughter ? I had the most delicious dishes, my opinion, chicken parm, chicken picatta, and the portabello!! Very good restaurant all the way around!

Busy rainy weekend evening and this placed lived upto the hype. Restaurant located within the hotel, wears a warm woody welcoming ambiance. And the live wooden fire pizza oven adds to the charm. Decently priced and offers a lot of quality Italian dishes. We ordered Garlic Knots, Umbari pizza and a vegetarian pasta - all of those were a hit. Service was a bit slow, a long wait between dishes, and could have been better. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bar Harbor and craving some Italian cuisine.

Inside was very cosy.We ordered two pizzas and they were so good. The brick makes the difference. Our waiter was so kind, unfortunately, I can’t remember his name.As a dessert, we ordered tiramisu. It was the best one I have ever had.

Mon. 5:30 pm 10/16/23. We stood at the host stand between five and 10 minutes being ignored by the host who was on the phone, and by seven or eight waitresses and waiters. Finally one of the waiters sat us at a table. The host continued on the phone another 15 minutes. This place needs a new host in a huge way. Terrible service. The food and the atmosphere are good.

Very good ambiance. Offers good views of the harbor even while sitting inside. Very friendly and courteous service. Food itself was tasty too.

Amazing breakfast!!! The limoncello pancakes are the best pancakes we have ever tried, very light and fluffy.

We had breakfast here several mornings while staying in The Harborside Hotel. To begin with the positive, the food was consistently good and came out quickly. We also had one server, Andrea, who was great on the couple of mornings she was there. However, the service otherwise left much to be desired. The dining room had an abundance of staff, and yet almost none of them seemed to have much awareness of guests. They bustled around doing side work (cleaning and setting tables, etc.) but wouldn't ever check on or make eye contact with any customers. At one point, four servers were on the floor with only two tables seated, and we went the entire time between our food being brought out and checkout without a server visiting our table once (around 45 minutes). I had to go to the server station myself to get water and hot sauce. One morning we heard a manager encouraging the servers about the importance of getting the tables set up quickly so they could close things down when breakfast ended (which was still about 30 minutes away), while completely ignoring the fact that several diners where activity trying to get someone's attention. We saw another table give up completely and just leave the restaurant.

Lobster roll was $35 with some fries. Had breakfast there also, average meal was $16 to $20. Service was better at breakfast than dinner. Overall a good experience.

Really comfy bed! Staff is professional and courteous. Provided a lot of helpful info upon check in. View over pool was nice and since we missed the sunrise stop Cadillac Mtn we enjoyed from our room Enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool!

This was our first time to Bar Harbor and this hotel is 10/10. They have one of the best locations. Close to the park without having to drive through downtown with tourists darting out everywhere. But it is so close to downtown that you are in walking distance to all the bars/restaurants. The staff here is incredible. The check in process was so easy and everything about the property was explained clearly. The checkout process was easy as well as I just sent a text with my email and my folio was sent to me almost instantly. The texting from the staff throughout our stay checking in on everything was great. The rooms were very spacious and seemed upgraded a bit but still had a nautical and coastal feel. I haven't been to any other hotels in the area, but we would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Bar Harbor.

Early start to our day so returning to bar harbor after Cadillac Mt and walk across to bar Island at low tide, there are not a lot of breakfast options. Stopped here. The stuffed French toast was amazing, my son (7yo) was very happy with his pancakes and eggs. I ordered the lobster Benedict. The eggs Benedict was good, I think the lobster was a bit over cooked and small for the price.
