We've eaten at LaBella Vita many times during our stays at the Harborside. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner are consistently good. standard Italian menu well done. Pizza's, pasta, and various other dishes make this a good go-to if you're in the area. The bar is small but a nice hangout for a cocktail, and wood-fired pizza later at night. Servers are attentive, service is quick, and food is good. Worth a visit when you're in Bar Harbor next.
We stopped here for a hot meal after an 8 mile hike. We were VERY hungry and also in a bit of a hurry to catch a shuttle back to our stay in Bass Harbor. The service and food were excellent! We ordered spaghetti & meatballs. Totally handcrafted and delicious! Our server got us checked out and packaged up in record time. We caught our ride with a few minutes to spare. This place is great! Will visit again when we are not in a hurry.
They employ a lot of exchange students. I ordered spaghetti, and got a wonderful pizza. The young people were trying hard, and very attentive. I get the language barrier. Anybody trying hard, I'm with em. What I didn't get was I couldn't get a refill on orange juice, after $17 for mediocre pancakes. The prices here are geared toward tourist. We eat here because of convenience.
