Friendly service and delicious food. The lobster salad panini was excellent. Gluten free bread is available upon request.
When you walk in it’s clear that this is a place created by someone who loves food and cooking. The sandwiches were traditional enough but with added flavors that bump them into a special category of their own. You’ll be satisfied with anything you order. Corn in potato salad. Who would have thought?

My group ordered soups and sandwiches. We all thought the sandwiches were good, but expensive for what we got. I had the tomato basil soup and it was okay but acidic. A cup size is $8 which was absurdly expensive for essentially seasoned crushed tomatoes. This is also an order at the counter, pick up your food, and pick your own table, kind of experience. Overall, the food was good but expensive for a mediocre experience.

I would not say it's bad, however, I'd not come here again.
Prices are fair and food is alright, nothing special though. Atmosphere is classic for this area, but there was so much smoke inside so I left smelling like burned food.
I wanted to note that the cashier was not welcoming and friendly at all and answered questions very unwillingly. However, the owner was very talkative bad sweet.
Overall, if you are craving sandwiches - you should consider this place but if you are hungry, I'd search for another place.

Amazing food, stellar lobster rolls and the Irish gentleman at the till is such a lovely soul!
Soups - the chowder was quite fishy in flavor, the tomato basil had chunks of tomato in it and was pretty good.
Sandwiches - the tandoori chicken is unique but very curry forward, and the lobster roll is good.
Service - sharp and to the point, no niceness or fluff.

Great sandwich for a very good price. All sandwiches/paninis are very filling. The tandoori chicken panini is done very well, worried the bread might lose some structure but they nailed the ratio. The cashier was so fun and engaging, it’s worth coming just to speak with him. Well worth a stop.

Charming and warm interior with a clerk to match. They serve a delicious cold lobster roll and filling clam chowder soup. The blueberry soda they sell tastes like the blue raspberry dum dum suckers.
