It was pretty good. 2 days of traveling wasn't quite worth it, but would come again if ever in the proximity!

Just a great place run by excellent people. Casual and, likely, the best lobster roll you'll Everest.

Realized I didn't write a yelp review from my trip last summer 2023, Hot Lobster Roll & Blueberry Pie with ice cream! The best meal!

100/10 the BEST hot lobster roll I have ever had!!! Not only was it the most delicious but it was a huge portion and I didn't even order the large full size roll!! No other restaurant has even come close to their lobster rolls. Their lobster bisque was fire too! I don't live in Maine but when I come here again I will make sure to visit again. It's mostly outdoor seating so be sure to bring lawn chairs if it gets busy. I tried many lobster rolls in Maine and this spot is hands down the best roll I had in Maine and the best one I've had hands down. You won't be disappointed coming here!

We didn’t try lobster anywhere else because this was the only place we needed to go! This was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten! Fresh Hot Butter Lobster Roll. 10/10 would recommend!

This place was yummy. After seeing so many reviews about this place before heading to Acadia we knew we had to try it. It didn't disappoint. We were there in the fall so we didn't see the updated fall hours. We barely made it on time. Even though we were there for closing time the staff didn't rush us. I guess the out door seating arrangement helps with that. The kids loved eating lobster!

Went to the Travelin Lobster on the recommendation of a friend on the last day of the season. While the line was long, it moved quickly, and we were pulled aside and seated at the bar for cocktails, a lobster bisque and two full lobsters. Outstanding food, and friendly and accommodating service.

This was our favorite lobster roll in Maine! We arrived right when they opened, and there was already a bit of a line but it went fast. The prices are reasonable and the seating areas are cozy, including fire pits so sit by when it gets cold. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting bar harbor - it's worth the drive!

This place lives up to the reviews. Lots of fresh lobster options and delicious food. Everything was fresh and delicious. The portions of lobster were great! Definitely would not hesitate to stop here again!

We were fortunate enough to hit the Traveling Lobster the last day they were open in 2023 and we are so glad we made it. The Sampler plate of Lobster rolls was fantastic and my seafood averse spouse loved her Mac and cheese and blueberry pie a la mode. I’m not sure when we’ll get back to Maine, but if we’re within a few hours of this place we’ll drive to make it back!

I'm not into seafood but I got dragged here by a couple of friends. White mac and cheese was a good option when I wanted something filling but with no meat (though $10 seems a bit steep for it given the simplicity and inexpensive ingredients required). We arrived fairly soon after the restaurant opened and they already ran out of a few dishes in the time we were there, so come early if you want to be guaranteed to get your top choice.Vegetarian options: White mac and cheese was a good option when I wanted something filling but with no meat

We heard this was the best place to go for hot lobster rolls. We waited in a long line, but we ordered in about 20 minutes. It took less than 10 minutes to get our food. Our party of four were amazed at the flavor of the lobster rolls. The lobster bisque was also very good. As amazing as it was, I didn’t fully appreciate it until we had lobster rolls at Side Street Cafe the next day and they were cold. I was skeptical but ate it. It was not even in the same ballpark as a hot lobster roll. If you go to Bar Harbor, this is a must stop at least once.

So great we ate here 2 days in a row! Made it just in time for the end of the season. Everything was incredible, hot roll was my favorite.

This place was a golden treat to find after hiking Acadia mountain. The weather was perfect outside and they have really cool ambiance -- surrounded by trees, lots of picnic tables with umbrellas for shade or fire pit for warmth. Everything is outdoors for this place. There are two parking lots on either side of the restaurant. They have an extensive menu! We ordered the lobster roll (small), lobster panini, pound of mussels, blueberry and ice cream. Everything was delicious, fresh, and amazing! Absolutely worth the wait if there's a bit of a line. We can't believe we almost didn't go here because of the distance from our Airbnb in Bar Harbor to here, but we're so glad we did!
