🦞 The BEST Lobster I had while in Maine, The Travelin’ Lobster in Bar Harbor. All the locals were here, so I knew I wanted to eat here. It was melt in your mouth delicious!!
Laid back atmosphere, great beers, super customer service and outstanding entertainment!
We traveled from Maryland, after lots and lots of research we decided to take our family here. Unfortunately it was a let down. Two of us paid extra for clams that weren’t liked at all. The lobsters didn’t have nearly as good of a taste as what we got at the KOA campground the night before. 4 out of 5 of us agreed we would get the campground lobster dinner again hands down. Maybe it was a bad night or maybe we should’ve ordered something different but sadly we were not impressed.

This no frills type of joint offers fast service and yummy food, including a must-try large hot lobster roll that is loaded with lobster. The lobster mac and cheese in a bread bowl is an absolute masterpiece and will live in dreams for eternity. The outdoor seating area is a bonus on a nice day and is very dog friendly. It's a beautiful place with wonderful staff.
