Chris is a true coffee artisan, personally brewing some of the best coffee in the entire area. His cold brew is quite possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. Furthermore, he is incredibly personable and truly loves his craft. He’s committed to excellence and has created a gem in his Coffee Pub. A Bar Harbor local, he also has a vast knowledge of the area and will gladly recommend things to do and see in the area. On my first day in Bar Harbor I tried 2 different coffee locations and was disappointed in each. Coffee can make or break your day. My only regret is not coming here first! Finally, a good latte that actually tastes like coffee and not flavored milk. Trust me, save yourself time and come here first!

They are mixing art and science to create the most thought through cup of coffee! Very balanced flavors with lattes that are the perfect amount of flavor without being sweet. It sounded like the roaster, Chris, thinks through all the conditions of the beans and climate to brew perfection.

I’m extremely used to freshly extracted espresso. I feel an after taste on my tongue after drinking it. I so badly wanted to give it 5 for the coffee, I even returned and tried it again unfortunately with the same response.

Wanted this to be good, but the coffee was really not good. My friend got an almond milk latte and it tasted bitter, burnt, and like it was from concentrate but not watered down. The rest of us got nitro cold brews which had an odd taste. Service was wonderful, so that was great. They had an outdoor space but only one small table and very little seating inside, which was a bummer for my group of 6 because we wanted to sit there.

My wife had three perfect latte's here. The Barista was so friendly and courteous even when she was slammed with customers. The place is cute and decorated well and upstairs they have tables and space to chill out with your coffee and enjoy. The location is good on a side street downtown and we will definitely return for the atmosphere and delicious coffee offerings. Nice find on our family vacation from NH. Thanks!

Waste of money Our first clue should have been that no one was there at 8 in the morning. Our second clue should have been that the server was not interested in discussing or answering any questions about the coffee. My husband's double shot of espresso came out as 6 oz of coffee. We couldn't see, but we now think there was no espresso machine. My Americano was terrible. Almost indescribably bad. Like a pot of coffee that boiled down after 24 hours on the burner. There was also a funky banana taste (perhaps due to the cup?) Anyway, we poured it out and moved on to another shop. It was not drinkable.
