This roadside restaurant has window service and outdoor tables with umbrellas. We had fried shrimp and fried clams baskets. Everything was delicious, generous portions, cooked just right and very fresh. The menu offers lots of casual lunch or supper options. They also serve many flavors of ice cream, but we were too full to try them!
Yummy lobster rolls and lots of good ice cream
The lobster roll was weird we asked for a warm buttered one and they have us a cold butter one. The excuse was I thought the warm butter I put on it would heat it up. She seemed shocked we ment warm meat. If I would have said cold would it have been unmelted butter. And you get to see the lobster come fresh from the freezer in the dining room. Then they forgot the lettus. So we had cold lobster that they heated back up to slightly below room temp and no lettuce. Hair in the onion rings. Weird place but the lady working the counter was nice everyone else gave weird vibes. Will not be inviting to my birthday party
One of the workers was confused about my order. I ordered the root beer float with chocolate explosion and she was confused about what exactly I wanted even though I made it clear. She was nice but didn't know how to ring it in

I had the saddest lobster roll ever here last weekend. I was so looking forward to it. But when I opened the to-go container, my heart sank! The roll was smaller than a standard hotdog bun. The lobster wasn't fresh and was cold. And the portion of lobster was barely enough to fill the roll. All for $25.

Worst meal I ever had. We say and waited for our food and it came out with cold fries. It was nasty seafood and you could tell it was frozen. Will not be back.

Ate here two weeks ago and it was delicious. The seafood was fresh! Ate there today and was extremely disappointed. I believe the seafood was frozen pre breaded. Certainly was not the fresh hand breaded that it was two weeks ago.

The lady at the window was awesome she was such a sweet woman but I took my son to grab ice cream on this extremely hot day and stopped in here he ordered orange sherbet which he enjoyed but I got cookie dough ordered both smalls I was a little disappointed at the serving size especially at the price that they were and my cookie dough tasted freezer burnt and made me ill so I threw most of it away kind of saddened by my experience

I was a little bummed out with the lobster roll. I ordered and thrn heard the staff ask one another “do we have enough for one”. The answer should have been no. 26$ later, it was literally more lettuce than lobster. Its on my way home from work, but that will be my last trip.
The sign when you arrive indicates a low workforce, but despite a busy Thursday evening with the concert in town, the 3-person crew was able to get through the large flow of patrons. If you get a basket (many choices available), I suggest going for the hand cut fries. Seafood and other diner staples are available. Grab an ice cream for dessert on your way out. A small cone is about 12 oz of ice cream.
