Sorry but $45 for a tray of mediocre ziti and a small chicken salad that was dry as a bone? That's a bit much.

It is a small shop family owned shop with Husband and Wife bakers. The son was there ringing people up when I was there. The cookies were excellent and the coffee I sampled was great. We tried two of each in the display window and everyone we shared with loved them. We wanted to try this place for at least the last 10 years on our way up or down to/from Sugarloaf, but the timing wasn 't right. Finally got to stop by and though we didn't win the big Mega Millions we got a prize for out palate. Good to finally stop by and hopefully can time it again next year. The owner did mention if you order she can leave the order out back.

cute place. food was meh. pie was meh.
I know inflation is bad everywhere, but still. The prices were a bit unreasonable for what you get. Mediocre bagel with lox was $13. Mediocre pie was $24. You can probably do better elsewhere.

Reply to owner: There's no need to be rude and insulting. I left a 3 star review which was my honest opinion. Insulting your customers is not a good business plan. So I'm downgrading you to 1 star. BTW, did you make the bagel and the lox from scratch too? Or did you buy it from Hannaford or Walmart and that's why it was $13?

Best blueberry pie and cinnamon rolls I've found in my many trips to various parts of Maine. And the young people who waited on me were genuinely friendly and helpful.

The food here is amazing. I drive from Portland once a month to get cinnamon buns. The owners are fantastic and the staff is very kind I would highly recommend checking this place out!

New owners are not grateful to their local patrons whom made the business it is, the one they purchased. For the past 6-7 years, starting a birthday tradition, My boyfriend, whose business is next door, purchased me a chocolate birthday cake. Calling 11 days in advance asking for the same basic chocolate cake. They are too busy making Thanksgiving pies. The 11 days would be AFTER Thanksgiving. Thanks for nothing.

A warm & colorful building and a kind staff located in a quaint town.I was delighted to find homecooked style baked goods, ready-to-warm (cold) dinner pies and desserts.I purchased a single peice of Quiche (& they offered to warm it) with two homeade style peanut-butter cookies! It fit my budget AND the Quiche was AmazingThere is an outdoor patio set up,out front, that offers tables with sun umbrellas and chairs.Parking is outback.

A bit on the expensive side. Once one kind of piece was cut we could not choose another a bit disappointing

Coming from the UK, we were really looking forward to trying the bakery this morning after hearing so much about it. Maybe we were here on a bad day, but at 10am on a Monday morning, there was practically no selection - no bagels, no breads (except for one loaf), limited sweet treat selection, limited selection of quiches and nothing available to order fresh. We were told there was no breakfast menu that day which seemed odd, but perhaps this was due to staff shortage. The blondie and quiche I had were good, but nothing especially noteworthy
