Oh my gosh! The food was fabulous and the decor was very interesting. My husband had chicken and farro. He's a tad fussy and diabetic but he loved it. I tried it and it was wonderful. He was surprised how much he loved it. I had lamb ragu. It was also delicious. The waitress was very helpful (we had many questions). And once again I apologize for not taking pics but that just means you'll have to go see for yourself!
We came here on the recommendation from John at Holidae B&B and it did not disappoint. We ordered the chowder, root veggies, chicken with faro and bread pudding. All of it was fabulous, and they even split the soup for us. The service was quick and helpful, and the restaurant itself is so pretty and cozy. A perfect dinner post skiing!
Though we are frequent visitors of the sister restaurant in Bar Harbor, Project Social, we didn't know what to expect from Mountain Social. As a group of 8, youths to retirees, we were really impressed with the whole experience. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The menu had many of our favorite dishes from Project Social with a number of excellent additions that were popular with everyone. Highly recommend this...
