727 Ocean Sunset Bar is a short drive from Ocean Point, offering both outdoor deck seating and indoor seating. While the sunset deck is very pretty, it does not offer a direct view of the sun itself. The service is friendly and fast. The lobster roll is a highlight, described as very solid and the least expensive anywhere. It is served on a split roll with an option of mayo or butter; the mayo version comes with arugula, parsley, and green onions. It is a 5/5 dish and comes with fries. The garlic butter fries are also really outstanding, a 5/5. The Caesar salad is an okay 3/5. The andouille lobster gumbo, however, was incredibly salty and more soup than stew, making it mostly inedible and a 1/5 for taste, though it did contain generous portions of lobster. The amazing blueberry crumble dessert with ice cream and whipped cream is a 5/5 and delicious, served with the hot crumble and ice cream in separate dishes. It is a nice place for drinks, and getting the lobster roll and blueberry crumble makes for a 5-star meal.
