We had breakfast and 3 dinners during our 3-night stay at the Spruce Point Inn. The food was and service were so good that we didn't have to look elsewhere for our meals. For our dinners we had the vegetarian bolognese, pork chops, littleneck clams (super yummy broth!), calamari, salmon, salad, crab cake, and for breakfast, the lobster eggs benedict was so good. Had a lovely breakfast at the Salty Stag this morning. It was early, and we were the only ones there. I ordered the steel cut oatmeal, and the presentation was very nice. There were fresh berries on top and mini pots of golden raisins, walnuts, and brown sugar served on the side. The oatmeal itself was very good and not thick and clumpy. The dinner was good but expensive, I would eat out. The rib eye was so thin, it looked like a Salisbury steak. The food was good, nothing to rave about. The server was pleasant. The Chicken salad was ok. too chopped up not enough green leaf romaine. We dined in October 4th 2023
