“This is one of our favorite spots. We go back every trip. The view is A+. Nothing compares to sitting out on the deck, watching the boats while enjoying a drink.
The food is always great. The clam chowder is one of the bests on BBH. The bang bang shrimp and the Caesar with blackened haddock. Everything is fresh and consistently delicious.
What makes it even better is the people. Chloe, Katy and Lily are the BEST and make you feel right at home every single time. They’re a huge part of why we keep coming back.

“The White Clover's warm decor, white table cloths and wall to wall to wall windows granting harbor views, created that atmosphere for a magnificent date night. Nakita was personable, and immediately made you feel that you had her full attention. We started with a specialty cocktails. The Pink vesper was a fun and light. We had lamb chops and beet salad for appetizers. Both were perfectly prepared with the appetizer lamb chops being more than enough to share. The golden beets were such a treat! Mid course of asparagus with feta that was whipped and provided a wonderful pairing. For the main, We had the lobster and halibut succoatash and the lamb shank. Again Chef Kyle outdid himself. Every bite was better than the next. Lastly we shared the key lime tart and then rolled ourselves out of the restaurant! This is not to be missed!“

“Interesting place for breakfast/brunch mostly. Closes at 1pm. Only dish they could make vegan was the veggie mishmash (minus eggs or cheese). Was tasty. Comes with a side of toast. Would appreciate if they had more options for plant-based diets but thats the same as most restaurants in the area.“
“My wife and I were at the lounge the last 2 nights. Great atmosphere, the bartender was extremely friendly. It was our second trip to Boothbay/Sunset Lounge. Or previous experience was the same. Great place to visit, the Harbor Inn is away from the restaurants, shops and bars, but it is only a footbridge away.
Parking: Stay at the harbor inn, you won't drive again until you are ready to leave. Everything is within walking distance.“

“We went to the Salty Stag for a casual lunch and the view was beautiful. Our server Jana (dp?) was helpful and attentive in spite of serving customers outdoors on the patio along with us being indoors. Our meals were very delicious with generous portions. In particular was the amount of lobster in the Lobster Mac and Cheese! So good and too much for one person. ( We ended up taking a huge portion home .) I also recommend the SPI Cooler for a nonalcoholic refreshingly yummy beverage! It's made with 4 different fruits and really hit the spot on a summer day! Finally, we decided to get desserts to go since we were full but wanted something sweet to have later. We got two of the decadent chocolate flourless tortes. They were packed perfectly so when we ate them later they looked as nice as if we had eaten them at Spruce Point! Thanks to this lovely experience we now look forward to returning for a dinner at their upscale Whiteclover dining room! I hope to have the Lobster Thermidor !!!“
