“We travel from Newcastle to eat at Trackside. Everything we have ever ordered has been delicious. So many great things on their menu. We especially love the haddock bites.“

“My review is based off of the tamales just ordered. I grew up in Panama and it was one the best treats to get fresh tamales. It didn’t happen very often- but when it did, I loved them so much. And obviously in Maine- it’s almost impossible to find them- especially authentic. I was quite impressed with Sammy’s take on tamales. Of course- they are not the exact replica of what I had- but they are very impressive. And it’s A LOT of work to make them. It’s not Taco Bell. These are real tamales and I truly hope they don’t go away. Thanks so much for adding these into the Midcoast menu taking the time. Truly delicious. 🇵🇦“

“French influenced restaurant with a large, heated overflow tent. There Is good but abbreviated wine list. This is not a full service restaurant; table service was good. The Shrimp Dumplings are very good, just crisp on one side. The Shrimp and Grits are slightly spicy, the andouille was a little chewy. The shrimp Linguine has a lot of textures and flavors and was perfectly prepared.“

We did one of everything and all of the dishes were amazing. The tofu and the Halibut were highlights! “One of our favorite restaurants in Maine! Such a comfortable atmosphere with well worn wooden booths, tables and chairs. The menu is always so good, it makes it hard to decide what to order. Their salads are always good and a nice variety of other entrees and always delicious desserts that vary from day to day. Check the hours before you go.“

“We stopped down at the harbor for a snack on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Harbor Dogs is a tiny little stand, but they do a lot more than hot dogs! After a bit of deliberation we walked away with a million tons of food. Poutine! Asian fish tacos! Chili cheese dogs! Lobster rolls! Everything was delicious and those guys at the window? Top notch chefs. Get down to this unassuming shack and get yourself some amazing lunch.“

Usually I don’t like mustard but it was perfectly balanced with the onions and pickles” 14 year old- “I like the combination and the crunch of onion and lettuce. The burger was cooked perfectly. “We just had a fantastic meal here over labor day weekend. Great ambiance and vibe with excellent service throughout the meal. The food was top notch, my wife had the Curry and I had a Halibut special. Unbelievable flavors and the portion was very generous. Will be back next time we are in Camden for sure!!“

“We have dined at 18 Central many times over the years. The restaurant is warm and inviting, located at Rockport Harbor. Be sure to check out the amazing view from the back with the seasonal deck! The food is incredible! Our party usually gets a variety of steaks, seafood and raw bar. Chef Patrick and his team create high quality and super tasty dishes. Jessica and her team’s offer top notch hospitality. Beautiful wine list and well executed cocktails are a plus! The restaurant is open year round (with a well-deserved) break, I believe. They offer generous specials so be sure to check them out.“

“We had a harbor cruise scheduled and arrived early to beat the traffic. On our way to the harbor we passed this deli and looked in. Saw the baked goods and that was it. I'm pretty particular to the calories I consume, but couldn't resist the peanut butter cup brownie and coffee latte - both of which I've never had. YUM! We sat inside to watch the water for nearly an hour. After the tour and walking the town we were nearly to our car and decided to go back for a sandwich to take home for dinner. Best retracing of steps ever! The sandwich was very tasty and there was enough for a second dinner the next night.“

“We had a lovely meal at The Waterfront Restaurant. As the name suggests, it overlooks the water and is a good spot for a casual lunch. It’s a popular place, so be prepared to wait — we visited on a Tuesday afternoon and, even at 2:45pm, there was a 20-minute wait.

The staff were great, and we were seated as soon as they were able. We had the haddock fish and chips, which were lovely, although the portion was on the small side. The beef burger was also good. The service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again!“
