This restaurant came highly recommended by fellow travelers and hotel staff. It was quite the disappointment. Starting from the outset, the greeter refused to give us our preferred location which was set for four in favor of a place set for two. The place was 20% full at the time and never reached more that 30% while we were there. We had the best experience at the bar with AK. He was fantastic- super friendly, gave great food suggestions that turned out amazing! Would go back again and again!!

We went to Boothbay to see the Christmas Tree made of buoys and we were HUNGRY. Harborside 1901 was a short walk from the municipal parking lot and in a lovely spot on the river. They were welcoming and BUSY. We found seats at the bar, loved the unique drink list and settled in to eat. The moussaka was the BEST I'VE EVER HAD (and I have it everywhere).
