There is multiple thing. It is definitely a nice place, waterfront with the availability to come and dine from the sea. The terrasse is ok with nice view and the main room looks nice too, all wood built and looks cosy. The restroom are a bit weird behind the bar with the windows (covered by an almost dark curtain) with direct view on the main entrance but very clean. The kitchen now. I went there cause regarding the website there were some interesting mix that I would have love to try. (Gnocchi lobster, oyesters) Unfortunately when we discovered the menu, it has been simplified, and it's now a very simple choice that you have here. We both tried the Maine lobster BLT, (regarding the lack of main) one with chips, one with salad. The burger was not that bad with a good portion of lobster but I regreted that the aioli mayo was disapparing and the bun cold. The real disaster came from the salad (with a side balsamic vinaigrette) It has been probably tossed with tomato and lemon juice too early that when it arrives the salad was like cooked! The chips were ok with garlic taste, and cold that makes them a bit indigestible and oily or soft.Regarding the waitresses, they were all nice and know how to work around the place, and contacts were easy, friendly and polite with all of them. The overall experience was disapointing even if the live musicien was a great company for the experience. The pictures of the website don't sell what you will get! A lot of space for improvement.

Had arrived from airport to stay at Linekin Bay and asked if they had a table for three. Hostess said “I’ve been drumming my fingers all day waiting for people like you to come without a reservation”. We were told that we would receive lowest priority in seating and service and needed to immediately make reservations for the remainder of our stay. After a long day of delayed flights and lost baggage, we had just hoped to have dinner. It was extremely upsetting to be received with such a lack of courtesy, hospitality, and professionalism, and amazing that she had been actually been looking for an opportunity to shame guests. We went elsewhere for dinner and will not stay here again.

We were scheduled for a schooner ride and had a late lunch here. The schooner cruise was cancelled due to fog but our experience at the restaurant was so pleasant that we didn't mind. The food and drink was very good and our waiter, Andre, was attentive without being intrusive and made our experience quite pleasant. This place is quite close to Boothbay Harbor but not nearly as crowded. We will be back!

This place is about the place. It sits on Linekin Bay. The view never disappoints. The people are always nice. The drinks are always cold. The food is good. We always come over by boat. It's about the place.

Very bland the salmon tasted like a dirty grill . Very boring cabbage and rice.

We have dined at Linekin Bay in the past and have had positive experiences. Our most recent experience was not good. I made reservations online and noted we were celebrating our son’s birthday. In the past we have enjoyed the food the service and the view. Our latest experience was not enjoyable. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Service was slow. We have been patient and understanding of the service challenges that local restaurants are facing. Our waiter, Prince, was nice yet was rushed and not that attentive. We ordered a crab sandwich, a falafel burger, as well as their house burger. I started with the house soup special of smoked fish chowder. The soup was very good. It was different and very tasty. The dining experience went downhill from there. The food took a lengthy, but understandable, time to be served. What made matters worse, however, was that only two of the meals were served. My burger was not presented at the same time as the other orders. I waited for my meal as my wife and son had eaten almost half their meal. I finally was presented my meal. I was unhappily surprised that the meal was inedible. The bun on both sides was burnt and black. The meat, that I requested medium rare, had blackened marks on it. It took a while to get our waiter’s attention. When he looked at my meal, he immediately agreed with me and asked if I wanted another meal. I had wanted the house burger but considering everyone else was close to finishing their meals I asked what the fastest thing would be to reorder. Prince recommended the crab sandwich. I agreed to the order. The order did not come out in a prioritized time period as one would expect. It took as long as the original order. To add insult to injury the sandwich came without any of the preparation listed on the menu. I went to the bar asking for some remoulade sauce that was supposed to accompany the sandwich. I also asked to speak with the manager who did not appear before we left. I finally ate my sandwich as everyone else waited and watched me eat. We paid and left the restaurant. The manager approached me after I waved to him as we were walking to the parking lot. I told the manager of my disappointment. He said, surprisingly, that I was not charged for the burger. I told him I was not. But we did pay an additional amount for the crab sandwich which I only ordered hoping I could eat with the rest of the family. He asked when I was coming back so he could make it up to me. I told him we would not be coming back anytime soon. Our dining experience and celebration was very disappointing. As a side note, when we have noted that there is an occasion that was being celebrated, e.g., an anniversary, there has been a recognition of it by some if not a number of workers at the restaurant. At Linekin there was no recognition at all of our reason for dining there, our son’s birthday. We will not be returning any time soon.

Enjoyed a dock and dine dinner at The Deck Bar & Grill on Saturday evening. Grabbed a mooring, came ashore and was graciously helped by staff. We sat at the bar. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. You absolutely cannot beat the view. Highly recommend.

H. and I had dinner here on a quiet Monday night. We have been here before and like the vibe and the view, and the food has always been good but never notable. But this time, the food was outstanding. I had the pan-fried Haddock with brown butter, potatoes and green beans. The fish was perfectly pan-fried -- sizzly and slightly crispy on the outside, while being firm, flaky and most on the inside. The potatoes were the right size and cooked to the right level of "done", and the green beans (almost always sub-par at other restaurants) were firm but not hard, and thankfully not mushy. Capers, lemon, salt/pepper and rich brown butter provided perfect flavor. H's Nashville chicken sandwich was slightly spicy, with the thick red-brown batter cooked properly. Her fries were crispy and hot. Service, as always at The Deck, was professional and friendly. Almost every coastal restaurant in New England will have a Haddock entree on its menu -- and the results are generally average at best. The Deck hit a home run with its version. I cannot wait to go back.

First of all you cannot beat the views of Linekin Bay! Perfect view of Cabbage Island. Secondly, the food is awesome. The fish tacos are so delicious and they have a lot of fun cocktails to choose from. I come here every summer! Perfect for a date night or night out with the entire family. Servers are very friendly. It has a laid-back yet upscale vibe. I've also come during the daytime for lunch. You can come via boat. I believe it's the same lunch and dinner menu but again everything is soo good. Their Linekin Bay Smash (rum punch) is a must!

Tourist/Beach spots can be difficult - but I'd have to say we lucked out. It was time for a couple of us to have some east coast seafood, but we also heard the chef at this spot is known for the risotto. 1 in our party had the lobster, but, lobster is wasted on me. One had the fish and chips. Up this way they use haddock. Don't know why we don't in Charleston, that was some oh-so-delicious fish!!!! I'd been dying for some 'Boston' clam chowder. This chowder definitely fits the bill. Tasty, salty (in an appropriate way) thick, hot, and stuffed with some delicious clams. I also decided on the risotto, just the 4 cheese, no protein. This was creamy and so full of flavor, 6 days later I'm still thinking about it. We sat on the rooftop, enjoyed some fine weather, a great meal, and lovely wine. Couldn't have been a more perfect lunch!

This bar and grill is on a deck overlooking Linekin harbor. They have good cocktails and offer sandwiches and burgers as well as some different types of bar food. Dinner is also served but the restaurant is small so reserve in advance. We had the fish tacos which were delicious along with chowder, which was delicious. It is a casual, laid-back atmosphere.

Even though we've been visiting Boothbay for many years, we just discovered The Deck this summer and ate there three times during our one week stay. The setting, the food, and the service were all first-rate. The indoor dining room is a bit stark and has a dining-hall-at-summer-camp feel but we ate there once, as we had no prior reservation that day, and it was pleasant enough. The efficient and friendly service made up for the plain atmosphere. The outside area is a beautiful place to enjoy a meal and early evening light over Linekin Bay gave it a special aura. Service was cordial and professional and never rushed or hurried. Special thanks to Rob, the dining area host, for his friendly and accomodating manner. While Boothbay offers a number of nice dining options, we welcome an alternative to the fried-seafood-with-a-side-of-fries that dominate many of the menus. The Deck offered a variety of other choices. That noted, the pan-fried haddock was extremely well done and the side of green vegetables welcome. Clams linguine were also delicious. And the home made blueberry pie is superb. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

We ate out on the deck. The view was beautiful. The food was amazing and our server was great! There was no rushing and we had a wonderful meal.

You will not be disappointed. The food is absolutely excellent and innovative. The chef's specials are creative. Swordfish was my top selection, however the Haddock was a close second. If you need a place with a view , I don't think you can go wrong be eating outside overlooking Liniken Bay.
