We are lucky enough to dine here often through out the season. The owners are amazing, the food delicious & the staff is friendly! Tonight was a surprise birthday dinner. The owner sent out an amazing piece of chocolate cake w/ a candle, the staff sang Happy Birthday! This was above & beyond any expectation I had. I appreciate you & the staff! We will be back! Four of us ate dinner at the Thistle Inn on Columbus Day weekend and it was spectacular! A+ for the service, atmosphere and food. Our four entrees were amazing.
The Cioppino was perfectly cooked. Our lamb shank was braises to perfection. The daily special, Balckened Salmon, was spicy, moist and delicious. I had the Sirloin Tips which were awesome.
Take the time and make the trip. You will not be disappointed.

This restaurant has great ambience. It is very old and feels like a genuine old farm house. The food was very good. We enjoyed our dinner there and would go back when we want to be away from the water for a change or if we are going to go to a concert at the opera house.
