This 50-year old family business has always been an important part of our visits to Boothbay. The whoopie and key lime pies are the best you’ll ever have! Please note: Uncle Phil’s is not related to the food trucks and ice castle next door. It’s an entirely separate and very special business.
Phil's niece has been running the place for the last few years. She is very friendly and efficient. Last summer when I ordered a lobster roll, I found that it was different from years past. Instead of using small chunks of meat (from the body portion of the lobster, I believe), they are using the more traditional Iarger chunks of claw and tail meat. I chose the mayo based dressing. This family-run shop is quite the sweet treat with its incredible array of delicious baked goods!I was drawn in by the sign advertising fresh pumpkin donuts and they were super tasty - the texture was light, fluffy and had a crunch from the brown sugar crust.
