Words could never express the level of service, quality of food, and atmosphere experienced. As first-time guests, my husband and I could not have received better treatment anywhere else. Genuine and friendly waitstaff combined with delicious food and beer, makes me wished I lived next door! We walked away with 2 growlers, 2 tee-shirts, and an experience we will not only never forget, but share with everyone we come into contact with. Dakota was our server last evening, and we couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. We have been to Mason’s many times, however the service and the food last evening were second to none. Along with the reasonable bill after ordering a myriad of dishes to share, we couldn’t be happier with this place. We highly recommend and will be back over and over.

This was pretty upsetting. We had a reservation for 16 at 10:30. They were not prepared for us at all. We stood there for over a half hour before I finally said something. After seating us it was another 40 minutes before they took our food order. Once the order was placed it took almost a hr to get food. Me and my party say there for 3 hours. I would not recommend this place for a large group. They do not uphold reservations, no one came and apologized for the long wait. And they messed our order up on top of it all.

This place was such a surprise the first time we came. Burgers were so good. I usually dive right into my Glorius 40’s Patty melt that I forget to take a picture every time we come. I’ve come here 5 times now and had the same burger EVERY time.
My daughter had the pepperoni pizza and the bite I had was amazing. I tell myself I’m going to that next time but I can’t resist the patty melt. If you’re in the mood for a big meaty and cheesy burger, look no further than the Don’t Go Bacon my Heart. Bacon burger with a beer cheese dipping sauce, nothing wrong about all of that!
Atmosphere is great, especially if the weather is nice, sit outside (or by the windows) to look out onto the river

I sat at the bar and the staff was attentive and extremely kind. It felt like a family environment. They gave me great suggestions of which beers to try based on what I was looking for. Also the butter burger was amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat.

This is one of the few places in Maine that has very tasty and unique dishes, However, the food took a long time to get to our table.
My husband and I stopped by to try out their beers. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any Pilsner options on tap, which was the main reason we came in. We ordered a beer flight and their Smashing Pumpkin beer, and it was pretty good! Service was friendly and attentive. The only downside is that it’s not pet friendly, so we had to leave our dog in the car. Overall, a decent experience.
