El Tequila Brunswick

The first impression was not good, very few patrons on a Saturday night and the floor was sticky all the way to the table. Service was good. The chips were good, but the salsa was way too hot. The menu is huge, and after we ordered we wondered what we were dking here. The the entres came! The steak was tender, very well seasoned and delicious. The tortillas were warm and fresh. My husband enjoyed his quesadilla and my rice and beans. We will come again!

The restaurant is unassuming and would be easy to drive by. However it is worth a stop. The food is good and some of the entrees are fairly unique and the more typical choices are well prepared. This restaurant opened just before Covid which is likely the reason that there are not more reviews.

The better place for real authenticity is EL RODEO by far. The portion sizes and presentation is far better. Taste is not watered down and thrown together like El Tequila. I lived in Mexico (Mexico City and Guadalajara) for 3 years and know what the food tastes like. People have no idea what is authentic since Taco Bell arrived in Brunswick.
