Amazing food! Great beer ?The portions were incredibly large. We will definitely go again as there are so many items on the menu we’d like to try.
I cannot give a better recommendation than to say that my dinner here was the true highlight of my trip to Maine! This is such a wonderful restaurant. Brother Donald explained that the lobster in our lobster roll, which had at least a pound of lobster and was in about an 18 inch freshly baked baguette, had been in the water 8 hours earlier. What a wonderful find! Hot shrimp dip and New England Flatbread were delicious. Took some cherry and blueberry cobbler home. Cobbler was delicious.
Friars' Brewhouse and Taproom is a wonderful restaurant that serves exceptional food and beer. The menu features delicious dishes such as lobster rolls, seafood chowder, meatloaf, and mac and cheese, all made in-house. The portions are extremely large, and the food is so good that you'll want to save room for more. The restaurant also offers a flight of beers to help you decide on your favorite. With a friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere, Friars' Brewhouse and Taproom is a must-visit destination that is well worth the wait.
