We stumbled upon Tacos y Tequila while staying in Bar Harbor. The staff is friendly. The portions were big - my husband and I could split my arroz con Pollo and food was delicious.

Sat down for dinner with my husband and little one and watched multiple parties come in after get service without any acknowledgement. After about 25 minutes we decided to leave. Pretty disappointed as we were looking for a local spot to frequent.

We've been here a number of times and the food is always great and the service is solid. Tonight, it looked moderately busy for a Sunday night when we arrived, but then people started pouring in behind us. Our server, Reginaldo, was amazing at keeping on top of everything. He seemed to be the only full server, and the restaurant was packed by the time we placed our order. Seeing how busy it was, we were prepared to wait a while for our meal, but somehow the staff moved into a higher gear, and were super efficient and pleasant. Huge shoutout to this hard working crew! The barbacoa street tacos are amazing, the tortilla soup is flavorful and filling, and the guacamole for the table is epic in proportion and freshness. The side room with the gas stove is super cozy on a cold winter night, too!

Really disappointed in the food here, both take out and in person. Tried the burritos and Baja fish tacos. Meat was tough and burrito was smothered in a not great sauce. Tacos were flavorless- fried fish topped with dry cabbage and a drizzle of sauce next to white rice. Sangria was mostly peach schnapps with no fruit. Such a great space and location, it's a shame that the food is falling short.

We ordered a bunch of takeout since it's just too difficult to go out with my granddaughter. So I don't expect the presentation to be the same when you order takeout vs. eating in at a restaurant. I like to top off my tacos with spicy red/orange sauce but was disappointed with what we were given. Need to give this place a second chance and eat in to get a better feel for it.

Wasn’t thrilled with the food, but the service and atmosphere is nice. I ordered the Enchiladas Banderas - I found them completely underwhelming.
The only thing that matters are margaritas, and this place kills it. Large pours, beautiful ice cubes (yes I know, but it makes it for me), and real ingredients. Mwah!

We enjoyed our evening having dinner here. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location is nice with ample parking and the interior is welcoming. The food was terrific, with good size portions. We selected the fish tacos, fajitas and chicken wings on this visit. All were tasty! Thank you!
