I was in the area today with my husband, we decided to stop in quickly and grab some breakfast. I’m not normally a breakfast person but grabbed the breakfast burrito & my husband got a cinnamon roll. When I tell you the burrito was the best I’ve ever had, it was fan-EFFING-tastic. My husband’s cinnamon roll was the size of his head, and he said it was amazing. Ruska Coffee Company is a real gem and a must visit in Caribou and northern Maine. It is widely considered the best place for breakfast and lunch in the area, easily beating other coffee stops. The food is always fresh, well prepared, and made with care, featuring ample and generous portions. Standout items include the treat that is the Ruska Panini, the exceptional corned beef hash, and the sausage gravy and biscuits, which are the best ever. The bowl specials are also excellent. For coffee lovers, the drip coffee, lattes, and cranberry cider are fantastic, tasting fresh and rich.
The atmosphere is great, very cozy and warm, with a simple and comfortable setup. The staff are always friendly and helpful, providing good and quick service. It is the kind of charming spot that makes you want to slow down, enjoy your coffee, and stay a while. This is now a go-to place for food when in the area.
