My family and I got a huge takeaway order of food for my brother in law’s birthday, and it did not disappoint! We got mulligatawny soup, nizam’s vegetarian choice, keema samosa, garlic naan, bread basket, mango lassi, chicken tikka masala, fish curry, fish tandoori, prawn eggplant, okra masala, navratan korma, and butter lamb. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. We got an array of mild-medium spice. The medium was spicy (I’m white), but not too spicy- I’d say it’s perfect for my tolerance level. The mango lassi was one of the best I’ve ever had. The service was awesome- they packaged up everything nicely in a big box for us, making it easy to bring home- no spills. And when they heard it was my BIL’s birthday, they threw in a rice pudding for free, which was so kind! The rice pudding was delicious. We will absolutely be going back. We spent $300 (with tip) on all the food for 5 people, but it was a LOT of food- we all got 2 dinners and lunches out of it.

I have been going there for 5 years now. They have gotten 100% better over the years
Driving from NYC on the way to Acadia and was craving some Desi food. Came across Mughal Palace and it was a great find. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered the butter chicken, butter naan, garlic naan, and shrimp tandoori masala with dal soup. Everything was amazing.
Alam was also a great host and made the experience even better. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area or passing through Maine. Great food, great service, and a real hidden gem.
Food was very good, all the dishes we tried were full of flavor and the spiciness level was exactly what we needed, the dining area is beautiful but it needs more care, could use more cleaning around too, the thing we didn't like the most were the portions, like most Indian restaurants around Maine, the portions is just different compared to other states for some reason, other than that the Meat dishes we tried were spot on in tenderness, texture and flavor.

Had an amazing experience at Moghul Palace!
We are tourists traveling from Boston to Maine for the long weekend, and we found this amazing place during our trip. The food was absolutely fantastic β every single dish was full of flavor, but the Dal Tadkaβ¦ oh my God, it was AWESOME!
Initially, we thought it might just be a one-time wonder, but we ended up choosing the same restaurant again on our way back to Boston β and they nailed it both times! Consistent quality, delicious food, and great hospitality.
The prices are very affordable, and the owner provides some of the best service weβve experienced during our trip. This place truly deserves a lot more business. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian food!

I just went to eat Dine-in the food is so good I love spicy I had the mixed Grilled Assortment of Tandoori specialties which includes onions, bell peppers, chicken, and lamb it was so good they give a great amount of portions,. I also had Chicken Curry, and white rice. The Chicken curry is out of this world to. The white rice was very fluffy, and well cooked. This is the first time me having india food. I'll definitely dine-in again, or order from Doordash because it's so good. All of the staff are awesome very polite, friendly, and they go above and beyond. Also the Naan bread is very good I had the Garlic Naan. They have very good salsa too.

The food and experience was awesome. I had garlic naan bread , shrimp masala with basmati rice and a refreshing mango lassi. Very flavorful!!!! Will be my go to while in the area.
I had takeout from here during COVID. It tasted great. Recently, I went inside after they opened the dining area back upβ¦it was absolutely disgusting inside. There was a strong smell of urine, old food on the floor, and bugs crawling all over. I would never eat food prepared in this building.

I stopped here for the first time. Ordered veg pakora and tomato soup (both vegan, gf) to go. The place is beautifully and simply decorated. The gentleman who helped me was welcoming and kind. The food was ready in a decent amount of time. It was everything and more than what I hoped for, and absolutely delicious! π― Happy birthday to meπ₯³ I look forward to another delicious sojourn there.
