We just moved to Augusta and are about 3 miles down the road from Back's. This is not a good thing for my waste line. The people working the window are very pleasant and polite. The ice cream is great I could eat there every day, but I better not. Great place.
So this walk up or drive through only. They make their icecream in house. It's delicious. Great service, flavors and prices.
Kid-friendliness: It's an icecream place so it's every kid friendly with portions that ar much smaller than other places. Not in a bad way, I did the other places around here to have huge portions.

So many flavors and combinations for a smallish shop. We stopped in after dinner, so I guess around 7. Drive-thru was busy with the walk-up closed. Not really enough tables in case people don't like eating in their vehicle but a nice spot still.
