great experience alltogether, great food. Abby was super hostess. will defenitly come back !
We eat here several times each year. Very good food. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The only thing that we find odd is the 3% additional charge for the kitchen staff. Don't most businesses just sell there product, charge what they need to charge to turn a profit, and pay their employees? We will still eat here. We are okay with the 3% charge but I can imagine that some people may take some or all of that 3% out of the usual tip.
While visiting Maine we have ate mostly seafood and we are here eating and I had baked haddock. It is probably the best I’ve ever had . The rest of my family had other food on the menu and they all were pleased.
Just ok.
The food was tasty, but to be honest, it was not really worth the price. The rice pilaf was bland, and cooked greens were not my idea of a vegetable. Although they are vegetables, I would think for the price of the food, you could serve some fresh asparagus, perhaps some broccoli or squash? Our waitress was fantastic. Desert was delicious
Tourist trap. Over priced. About 2x cost for comparably good food in the area. We won’t be going here again.
Took >5m before a host even showed up to acknowledge us (there were no guest being served on the main floor, it wasn’t because they were busy). They put us in the window to make it look like there were guests in the restaurant. A couple of the dishes were pretty good flavor wise but everything was 2x over priced. This place is a tourist trap.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Every year, we end our Maine vacation with dinner at DRG and every year, it's a memorable experience. The pemequid oysters are amazing. So sweet and delicious. The broiled seafood was a great way to end another Maine vacation. See you next year!
The meals were excellent and professionally done. So good you wanted more even though you were full. Desert tops the last nich in your palate. The waitress was very timely and efficient. Will visit again.

We ate upstairs (two dining rooms downstairs and upstairs) and this meal did not disappoint! We started with the lobster cakes appetizer which was served on a corn puree and a salad with an amazing mustard vinaigrette. We then ordered the baked haddock and the duck confit risotto which were both excellent and the portions were definitely generous. Highly recommend!

Attentive service. Fun menu. They add a service charge for the kitchen staff, which I find annoying. Just set your prices honestly.

Excellent restaurant with delicious food.
Ruby was an amazing server even with the largest amount of guests she was responsible for.
Our meals were delicious and expertly prepared. There were many gluten free options available.
Reservations are a must. The atmosphere perfect.
This was our second time dining here and I look forward to returning.

Really unimpressed :( Terrible birthday dinner.
After reading many stellar reviews, my fiancee and I were very excited to dine here for my birthday on Sunday evening. Restaurant seemed nice at first but we noted immediately that the music was very loud (we sat on the second floor).
Our waitress was sweet but young and had trouble opening the wine bottle, leaving wrapper shards on the table as she did.
Everything we ordered was BLAND. The "seared tuna" looked like it had been microwaved and had no sense on it. The "garlic, and more garlic" mussels were small, sandy, and the broth tasted like Campbell's vegetable soup.
My partner got seafood platter and it came out barely hot and once again bland. I got the paella and while it was fairly tasty, the lobster had shells on it and everything needed salt and pepper.
Overall, not nearly worth the $250 price tag.
