“When we booked at another area hotel for our son’s wedding and arrived to a horrible experience at a hotel, the owners of Rivers Edge Motel were there to provide us with beautiful alternative lodging so the wedding weekend wasn’t ruined. We were able to care for our grandkids overnight in the beautiful room that Michelle provided to us as a reasonable rate and we had a blast! “Eating here feels like walking through a portal to another, simpler time. Upon entering one is greeted by gumball machines filled with candy and gum. Theres a drink cooler brimming with classic beverages and each window is filled with potted plants. We were greeted upon entering, and sat at a comfortable table. Water was cold and bottled, and the menu was simple and easy to read. The air conditioner to my left was probably as old as my dad, and hummed throughout the meal. For a dining room so large one would expect a crowd, but we were the only table there. Food came out quickly, and was served piping hot. Portions were filling, and incredibly tasty. Probably the best pork lo mein I've ever had. For me, this is a must stop when in the area. Prices are incredibly fair, with it totaling only 32.95 for 2 people.”
