I have been here many times and have had good meals the last time was disappointing this time was out right gross I ordered the captains plater 33.35$ the shrimp was fried so long I’d say for a second time u could not eat it! The batterd claims had green gue coming out and were not purged or cleaned the scallops we so old and cooked in old grease they were dark brown full of gresss the haddock looked ok but I was so upset I didn’t try it!! Every trip to Eastport is a treasure in itself but The Waco Diner is our favorite stop. Delicious food whether it’s off the menu or one of Chef Steves special weekly creations. Breakfast features their overstuffed omelets, Blueberry Pancakes and more. The lunch menu is huge featuring delicious sandwiches, seafood and salads! Great food and service. Prime Rib was excellent and breakfast was excellent. They were very busy during 4 of July and the staff was amazing. I’ve been going there since I was a child and many year later I still go in as an adult. Thank you!!!!
