Cozy wine bar/shop that has recently added dinner service. Table Bar, in downtown Gardiner, has a warm neighborhood feel. The menu is small, but tasty, with snacks, small plates, and a couple entrées that change based on the season and what's locally available. All good - and the owner is hands on and quite knowledgeable about his large selection of wines. Recommend!

This is a very interesting and entertaining place, and I highly recommend a visit. There are two parts to this unique establishment, and they are both done very well. On one side is the wine shop. While the shelf space and selection is small, all the wines are excellent quality and a reasonable price and the variety is terrific. The owner tries to get a selection of wines from "funky" to "conservative" and I think he has done a marvelous job. The other side of the shop is the bar. A selection of five wines are available by the glass, and they were all unique styles and flavors and countries. Tasting the wine before you buy a glass was encouraged. The bar also has very nice snacks and appetizers and salads, and on Friday and Saturday they have dinner. Everything we had was excellent! We had the corn fritters, brown bread, an excellent salad that included mint leaves, and a chicken rondelle that was perfect.Now the fun part. If you find a bottle of wine that you like, you can have it opened in the bar and enjoy it for a $15 corkage fee. Not as cheap as a BYOB, but much better than paying three times the retail price for a bottle of wine in a restaurant.And I have to recognize how incredibly thoughtful and friendly the owners and staff are. We had a delightful time speaking with them, and all the customers were treated like family members come to visit. The atmosphere is a bit rustic and plain, but the quality of the people and the food and the wines make this a place I plan to visit whenever possible.

Just getting home from an absolute delight of an evening at Table Bar. The staff were so lovely, the music & ambience were spot on, and the food was perfectly prepared and so so so tasty. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

What a gem! I loved everything about this place. I found my new favorite wine for the summer. We had wonderful conversations with the owners/bartenders. While we didn't eat here, we look forward to coming back! My husband who isn't into wine, found a great new beer (they also have beer and cider).
