Love this place, Fresh food for good prices! Call ahead and you can get fish heads and other parts of a very wide range of seafood; the selection on ice on any given day is vast. If they dont have it that day, I'm sure they can find it for you!

It’s just a great place to get your seafood!!
We get lazy and have them cook everything, lobster and clams! I LOVE IT! And everyone is friendly and respectful and polite!! I wish I could say they have low prices, not really!! But, they cook for free in certain circumstances! (I’m adding that because I’m not sure if they charge for the steaming but it makes sense, don’t have any cooking mess! Just open and eat! They go home in styrofoam boxes, which I return so they aren’t ONE USE!

Most reviews are from a few years ago with the exception of 3 or 4, so maybe things have declined recently. We went there specially for their lobster rolls and came away very disappointed. We called ahead to place the order. When we arrived the rolls hadn’t been made. After a short wait we got our order and left. The lobster rolls were tasteless, soggy, and had a few strands of hair in them. Not what we expected for the money we paid. Hope this was an odd occurrence and 2025 gets off on the right foot.

I had an excellent experience at Hallowell Seafood! The gentleman behind the counter was a riot and he honored my ridiculously old gift certificate. We got a bunch of great food and ate like kings! Thanks again!

I ordered two hard shell cooked lobsters, waited 45 minutes, drove home and one was hard shell and the other one definitely was not and fell apart with my fingers, ity bity meat in it. Service was kind and delivered on time when promised
