This is my place of employment. This is not a restaurant! It is a wholesale (only) working fisherman's wharf! We are not open to the public. The people, location, and views are spectacular (hence the 5☆ rating), but again, not open to the public!! There was a restaurant there years ago, closed 10 plus years ago!
You have to really want to eat here to find this place. Do it! If you like lobster like we do then here is a three day itinerary. Day one: Fisherman's Catch Wells. Day two: Bailey Island Lobster Co. Day three: Thurston's Lobster Pound Acadia. We thought it would be fun to take the ferry to Vinalhaven and have a lobster where the largest lobster fleet in North America hangs.
