We had a terrible experience here 5/28/25. A surf and turf dish came with a rancid, disgusting steak. The server’s response was ‘that’s weird because I had it for dinner and it was fine.’ A lobster sauté dish had rubbery, inedible lobster that couldn’t be cut with the butter knife provided. The server’s response was that lobster can be tricky to cook. When we got the check the server removed half of the cost of the lobster dish. We wanted edible food but were not offered any. Would never eat here again. Terrible food and service.
Amazing atmosphere, amazing views. Service was excellent. The drinks are some of my favorite. Food is always good. I would ALWAYS recommend this place to anyone in the area and 100% worthy of a day trip just for the ride, views and experience
I cant even explain how beautiful the view is almost 360 degrees. The Schoomers, sailboats, ribosome Bridge, lobsters.
The menu had a wide variety of foods. I have a severe shellfish allergy but my kids love the lobster here. I had the steak burger once and it was amazing, seasoned and tasted just like eating a steak. I had the bourbon turkey tips another time and they still make my mouth water just thinking of them. My kids and girlfriend always go for the Bucket of claws and stuffed lobster.
I could go on and on. Its a must visit and should be put on a bucket list for everyone.
Great food, Great view.
Excellent menu and atmosphere!
The quintessential Maine lobster restaurant. A must if you are in Mid-Coast Maine. Cook's is the highlight of our annual trek to this bountiful area. The lobster roll just hits differently than any other of the quality lobster shacks in the region. The lobster dip and lobster wonton appetizers are divine. The lobster is as fresh as it comes as are the clams. You will not be disappointed.
Not the wonderful Cook’s we all remember. I was so disappointed with the menu, mediocre food and high prices. I paid $64 for lobster today.
Get the Steamers and bisque
Seafood in the rough
Yall, this was hands down the best lobster I’ve ever had. The lobster wontons were fabulous and you have to have them when you visit here. The food is pricy but so so worth it!
Whole bellies super tasty!!

The portions here are huge! Probably the biggest bowl of clam chowder I've ever had. Definitely plan on coming back.
The food was good. The atmosphere and service were great. It's a quant and cozy place serving up local brews and interesting cuisine. Definitely want to try the the summer menu
