“I don't drive more than 10 minutes for ice cream — definitely not 30-plus — but we made an exception while staying in Raymond to check out Long Lake Creamery over in Harrison. Totally worth it. The soft chocolate ice cream was some of the creamiest we’ve ever had, the sundae (peanut butter and hot fudge, yes please) was massive and delicious and they had so many flavors of ice cream to choose from. We also loved the homemade cones, the friendly staff and the pretty spot right on the water.”

“We eat at Dolce Amici whenever we are in Norway. It is always great. Tonight the dinner was exceptional: Polenta baked with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach; excellent apple and greens salad; great bruschetta; cannoli and — of course — gelato. Good wine selection, local beers. Lovely outdoor seating, kind and attentive service. Love this place. Don’t miss it.”
“Best matcha in Bridgton! And the donuts are top notch too!”

“🌸 A Toast to Life, Love, and Literature—at Stella’s on the Square! 🌸 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Today, Stella’s on the Square wasn’t just a venue—it became a living, breathing storybook filled with laughter, tears, and love as we celebrated the extraordinary life of Cathy Cote (1967–2025). An aspiring author, a quiet storm of strength, and the kind of woman whose presence lingered long after she left the room. Her family turned the space into something magical. 💌 Pam read beautiful excerpts from Cathy’s unfinished book—words so heartfelt you could almost hear the pen still scribbling. 🛠️ Paul, her husband and emotional rock, was the embodiment of steady, supportive grace. 🎬 Crickett Cote, author and screenwriter, and chef extraordinare delivered moments of wit and warmth like a poetic stand-up act—honest, raw, and hilarious. 👧 And Darcy, Cathy’s youngest daughter, carried herself with quiet strength and glowing love, a reflection of her mother’s legacy wrapped in grace and soul. Cathy’s spirit filled every corner, whispering, “A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.” And wow—was it ever. 🎶 Live music swayed with the floral decor. 🍴 The food was “hug-your-chef” good. 🍸 The cash bar? Let’s just say it kindly turned tears into toasts. But Stella’s—oh, Stella’s! The staff weren’t just servers, they were part of the experience. They moved through the room with compassion and charm, making it feel like your favorite aunt’s living room (if your aunt happened to have impeccable taste and event-hosting superpowers). Every detail—every flower, every flicker of candlelight, every note of the music—was a love letter to Cathy. She may not have finished her book, but today, we all lived in the final chapter together. A chapter written in hugs, memories, and a little Chardonnay. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate something—or someone—truly special, let Stella’s on the Square be the backdrop to your next unforgettable moment. ✨ Cathy would’ve adored this review. But more than that, she would’ve adored that so many showed up, laughed, remembered, and stayed a little longer than planned—just like she always did. #CelebrationOfLife #CathyCote #StoriesLiveOn #DarcyStrong #StellasOnTheSquareMagic #LiveLaughRemember”

“We stopped in tonight on our way home from a tournament. From the moment we walked in the door we were instantly greeted with a smile and seated right away. The staff was both helpful and pleasant. They made accommodations to the Ramon for my daughter to her liking. There is something for everyone. Service was just as amazing as the sushi. We will definitely be back and we’re bringing friends!!”

“Morning Glory Diner was a fantastic experience all around. Everyone that worked there was so friendly. They were so good with my 4-year-old daughter, and all of our food was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend the Irish Eggs Benedict! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the food was delivered to the table quickly. All of their festive holiday drinks are so creative. The egg nog latte was perfect on a cold December day. ☕️🥰 We will DEFINITELY be returning!”

“We got exactly what we were imagining plus extra!! It was my husband's Army Send Off party for basic training and the cake turned out to be a hit! My husband absolutely loved it and we got many compliments on it from others! Looked and tasted amazing! It was our very first time taking a chance on this business and was a very pleasant experience. Excellent customer service, couldn't ask for better! Anyone that is looking to get cakes from here, I also reccomend not skimping out on a tip! I'm sure they get very busy, and owning a private business in Maine now-a-days I can imagine is a bit rough. Thanks so much guys!✨️”
“We are actually NOT coffee drinkers for medical reasons. So when we cheat and have a cuppa, it better be good. Maine Morning coffee is beautifully roasted and deeply flavorful, no matter which of their many beans we choose. And it is really fun and enlightening to sample a few. Love it all and regret we cannot drink it regularly! Deborah and Jack”

“This is nothing against our server because she was great and very sweet and accomodating... management on the other hand... my husband and I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday... He heard really great things about this place from a number of his coworkers and people that live locally and let me tell you... we were both were very disappointed. The food was alright, nothing I'd really rave about... but the cocktail menu... VODKA, VODKA, AND MORE VODKA. Not much variety at all... which coming from a bartender/server of 10+ years, if you knew what you were doing then you would know that not everyone loves vodka. I ordered the cucumber cooler, which is typically made with gin... just because you use Effen Cucumber Vodka, does not make it a cucumber cooler... that was the most horrible tasting drink I ever had to force down. Clearly the "customer is always right," does not apply to this establishment. Any good manager would take it off the bill and accomodate the guest and offer something else. NOPE NOT THIS PLACE!!! I ended up forcing myself to drink it because I was not letting my husband pay for a nasty drink to be dumped down the sink anyway. So I order the Aperol Spritz and it was alright. I will say they need more variety on the cocktail list, and I will give you a new recipe for your Cucumber Cooler FREE of charge... GIN (anything but well).. muddled cucumber & mint, touch of simple syrup, splash of lime juice, give it a hell of a good shake, & top it off with soda water... I'm sure you will get way better reviews off that one menu change. Good luck this summer cause y'all are gonna need it!”
“We were camping at Sebago Lake State Campground and discovered Dose as our special treat away from the campsite… so good, we ended up visiting twice during our trip! Both times, we were met with a warm greeting and consistently great service.
The staff was incredibly patient and kind, even when my two kids changed their orders halfway through. The muffins were tasty, and we especially appreciated that they offered bagels on the weekend. While they didn’t have butter, they quickly offered peanut butter as a substitute, which was a thoughtful solution.
The real star was the caramel lattes! Delicious every time. My son also enjoyed their smoothies. We also loved the relaxed sitting area, which made for a comfortable spot to hang out.
Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for a cozy, family-friendly coffee stop!”
