The wait time here was about average, nothing too long but not especially quick either. Ordering is done through touch screens, which I personally don’t care for since I prefer interacting with a person at the counter. The food came out just as expected—no mistakes, no surprises. Overall, it was a standard fast-food experience. Nothing above and beyond, but it got the job done.
Located inside the rest stop, there is ample seating if you wanna eat in. The Kiosks do not contain the full menu and you can not "Have it your way", despite the company's moto. You can order at the register if the Kiosk doesn't have your combo, but getting the staff's attention without attitude is hit or miss. If only BK paid them enough to care. Service, once order is placed, is relatively on par with other fast food waits.
Came in to the service plaza late night going south from Augusta. Checked out the prices in the convenience store, and sure enough, BEYOND ridiculous. The only other thing open was the BK Lounge. I stepped up to the counter, and Cindy immediately greeted me and came around from where she was working to take my order. We chatted for a bit, and I ordered the royal chicken to try. Since it was so late and she had not had many customers, she checked the chicken and it was not up to...
