Was staying in Kennebunk and could literally walk to this place every morning. " Local gem" in the rough. They have a terrific bakery and everything is made there and freshly done. The coffee is excellent. No place to sit down inside; strictly order out. They have approximately four outside tables. Great atmosphere and friendly locals to chat with. Went there September 12, 2024. Very enjoyable having fresh brewed coffee outside.
Highly recommend this place.

Fun atmosphere with lots to look at, great selection of whole roasted beans, friendly owner (she was the only one taking orders and preparing coffee/food so be patient, it's worth it). Indoor and outdoor seating available, delicious gluten free options, a great way to start the morning.

This was super disappointing. For a place that roasts it's own beans you would think they would have decent coffee but that's unfortunately not the case. My iced latte was terrible and I don't think they pulled espresso for it at all, just used a pre-made coffee. The only redeeming factors are the lady who was working was very nice and their chocolate truffles were good.

I wish I had known the lattes are made in a machine similar to a Keurig before I placed my order. My latte actually didn't have any espresso in it at all when I received it, so either the cashier failed to enter my order into the machine properly, the machine wasn't working, or there wasn't any espresso in the machine to begin with. My drink ended up being just lukewarm water & milk with a squirt of caramel syrup that just sank to the bottom because the drink wasn't hot enough to dissolve the syrup. I wasn't in a position to take it back to get a refund, so I had to throw my lukewarm water-milk "latte" away. Additionally, all (6?) of the self-serve coffee carafes were empty or nearly empty, so my partner had to mix & match from several of them in order to make a full cup of coffee. The cashier was very kind & talkative, but they were alone in a really busy shop. I know that is not their fault. It was a really disappointing experience overall, and I won't be back.

Awesome spot with self serve coffee that is homemade with equipment over 100 years old! Staff was super nice and welcoming, offering insight about Kennebunkport, and sharing history about her shop. Super reasonable prices and cool atmosphere!!

As a warning to other people looking to come here for coffee… STEER CLEAR! The matcha latte was water ice and matcha powder barely mixed in. The lattes did not have any espresso shot…. It was prepulled shots in the fridge or powder espresso. We paid $7~ for a latte when this barista and store should not be advertised online. It’s false.
The fridge in the “coffee bar” is NASTY. It’s dirty and no scooper for ice. There was 15 syrups and all of them were empty/crusty except for 2 or 3.
Go to Docks Square Coffee instead if you want anything other than just a hot black coffee.

This place was a complete disappointment. When my family of four walked in we were excited thinking we found a charming Maine local coffee house. We were WRONG. As a coffee roaster we were expecting freshly pulled shots of espresso for our overpriced iced lattes. What we got was milk and refrigerated coffee. The breakfast sandwiches were premade and warmed for service. They contained very odd tasting potatoes. Additionally they were on par with dunkin drive-through. We got 4 breakfast sandwiches and 2 iced lattes and some bottled drinks for the kids for nearly $60! The worst part of this place was the service. The older lady working there was very rude and when I asked if there was a bathroom for my young son I was told "there is a porta potty behind the firehouse". How does a coffee shop not have a bathroom. Place is terrible, I will never return.

Iced lattes were pre made in the fridge in plastic jugs, not freshly pulled shots that you would expect from a coffee roaster shop. Breakfast sandwiches were dismal, pre made, re heated, with a soggy potato patty in them. Shop was crowded with random items and the management was rude. 2 coffees and 4 sandwiches was $55! !! No thank you.

My husband and I visited Coffee Roasters after googling coffee shops during our recent visit to Kennebunkport. After our first visit, he was hooked! We returned two other times during our stay. He loved the coffee ice cubes and the cold brew. Although we were a bit confused about the self service policy during our first visit, we quickly got the hang of it! The service was friendly and hospitable. A lovely place to visit if you are in the area! We will return.

Friendly little coffee shop with Good selection of coffees, even Decafe cold brew. Lots of baked goods. Quiches looked good, and we will try them the next time.

The coffee here is honestly terrible. They make espresso from a $150 machine, and brew coffee in household pots. They sell and roast beans, which I’m sure are good if made properly. My americano was water.

No restrooms for customers! ?It looked like a gem but the coffee was from a home espresso machine, tasted bad and was not worth the price.
If you like drip coffee it's a good place, if you're looking for a quality cup of coffee look elsewhere.
