I spend my summers in Kennebunkport, far from the many sushi restaurants I frequent in CA. What a joy that Rosella opened 3 years ago. We go regularly and have never been disappointed. Ambitious, thoughtful, highest-quality fish. And don't miss the miso carrot cake!

Absolutely outstanding Restaurant with the absolute, precious seafood sushi you could ever sync your teeth into our personal chef. Genevieve‘s was absolutely fabulous preparing us our dishes and letting us know what was on these particular pieces of Sushi when she sent them out to us at the bar in front while we watched her prepare these. This is a five star plus plus plus location. The staff was absolutely incredible and our personal Sushi chef Genevieve was absolutely amazing.

We wanted to love this place so much. As locals of Kennebunkport, we were excited to try a local sushi place, but sadly this dining experience was not for locals. There’s nothing quite like being told during your meal “we have a reservation coming in right after you.” It made us feel a bit rushed, and seeing as we paid upwards of $500 for four us, it was a little offputting. Sadly we won’t be returning, but the sushi was delicious.

Okay….I see what’s going on here. The best Sushi in the whole state in Kennebunkport? Hell yes. We visited this place last Sunday on a whim and we were soooooo happy we did. It was incredible. The quality, the flavors, the service and the atmosphere were all top notch. I also really loved the lighting, which to me, is very important. If you want fresh REAL sushi you have to go here. On top of all the delicious fish it was also the best miso soup I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back!
