Just went for cocktails and bites from the Veranda menu. It was pretty windy outside, so they let us sit in the living room. But we still had an incredible view of the ocean at sunset! The drinks and food were amazing. I loved the Thyme 75 and the deviled eggs (perfect smokey paprika and crispy shallots). It was quiet and not crowded during the off-season. The service was perfect. Attentive and kind, but let us enjoy our quiet time with the waves. We will definitely be back!

As world-traveling'foodies', I can honestly say that Ocean remains one of our favorite places to dine. The ambience is lovely and both the food and service are always excellent.

Our first time dining at Ocean. We were seated promptly. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Our server Nick was the best. Good on conversation, great with explaining the menu and paced our courses . We had a nice, leisurely dinner and every course was delicious. We will return.

We must have gotten a bad waitress on a bad night. Food and ambiance was the best but we were provided very slow service. Almost 45 minutes between courses even we were finished. No personal attention at all.

Ocean is our "go-to" restaurant for family birthdays, as it provides a unique and consistently wonderful meal. We really enjoy adding the wine pairing to our meals as it facilitates our trying some new, and excellent, wines and the pairings truly enhance each dish! Going back again in December! Highly recommend!

We are former NYC, now local, owners of a nearby hospitality business, maybe double this size of Cape Arundel Inn, but unlike KRC, just a single property. We recommend Cape Arundel to others, including family when they visit, to try something different and because of the great views. We came by for breakfast this morning at Ocean to just pay for breakfast, just as locals, not guests. It was slow at 9:30am on a weekday, and many tables were open. The Maître d' turned us away. I wonder if EOS Investors, KRC’s ownership team, knows how offensively they operate locally.

We didn’t know what to expect but had heard that the food at Ocean was well worth the price of admission. We found that to be true and more. Setting was quintessential Maine. The dining room was intimate, comfortable and inviting. The service was excellent and the food the very best we’ve had in a long time. The prix fixe menu included a wide range of options from tuna tartare to scallops and corn purée to lamb shank to duck to toasted halibut—every morsel was absolutely delicious. We sat at a table overlooking the ocean and couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience.

We are going with spectacular! Our food was so beautifully presented (one of us has a single regret - why didn't she take a picture?) and absolutely delicious. Who makes the deconstructed lobster look just like a lobster when presented? Ocean does! Oh, and did I mention the dessert? A beautiful peach in white cake, chocolate mousse and too many flavors to pick from on the sorbet list (a very nice conundrum.) Nick our server was fabulous - friendly, attentive and professional and he made us smile. When we joyfully asked if we could have the mousse first, Nick assured us we could and in fact could have 3 servings of mousse and 1 green salad if we chose to round out our 4 course choices. :) The dining room is, of course, beautifully designed and warm. It was a lovely evening. Thank you, Ocean and team.
