Port Lobster Reviews
Delicious lobster rolls that comes with fries. Fried chicken tenders were good too. Moderate-high price. No area to sit, just a take out place. No bathrooms sadly.
Generous sea food portions! Also if you want restaurant quality lobster this is the place. They literally provide it to all the places in town. Staff is also friendly and they are definitely keeping it the classic port lobster you know and love even after the change in ownership.
Stopped in a few days ago to get something for the ride back to Connecticut. Absolutely the freshest lobster roll I’ve ever eaten. Apparently made to order since it took about 10-15 minutes to prepare. A bit smaller but also less expensive than the restaurants. Also took home a couple of quarts of very good clam chowder. Service was very helpful. Recommended!

Port Lobster is a small, no-frills, simple spot for fresh lobster and local seafood. Customers describe it as a wonderful establishment and a true gem. The service is very helpful, kind, and patient, with friendly staff who provide good info about lobstering and advice on where to enjoy the food. The fresh lobsters are the freshest available, and the lobster roll is absolutely the freshest ever eaten, apparently made to order. The lobster is extremely low price and cooked perfectly, with options to have claws cracked and drawn butter provided. The clam chowder is very good. Other items include drinks, desserts, seafood, and beer. Parking is right upfront with no problem. While there are no onsite eating options, benches across the street offer a gorgeous view. Customers recommend ordering ahead for cooked lobsters to take away. This spot is worth the drive and is a go-to source for excellent quality, excellent pricing, and excellent people.
