Ocean was such an incredible experience. We did the Mother's Day dinner with the 4 courses and wine pairing. The food was perfect and the wine selection even better. Wished they had a kid friendly menu for families with small children but the experience was still 100% worth it.

For those of you that have not been to the Arundel Inn, this is an iconic destination in Kennebunkport, has been for generations. We invited cousin Suzanne, our Aunt Carol and Uncle bill have gone to Oceans for the past 40 years. If you are looking for an excellent fine dining experience, at an iconic Kennebunkport destination, this is an excellent choice.
This place is spectacular and everything we were looking for. Its not cheap but worth it. We were here for our 32 wedding anniversary and it was awesome. First we were seated right away at a window seat and brought complimentary champagne. Virtually every seat in the house has a spectacular view and ours was one of the best. Tip: get there before sundown for view as once the sun goes down it is very dark and you even know the beautiful view that is right in front of you. I did 4 course and my bride did 3 course. The portions are small and we loved it. At the end we were completely satisfied and not over done. I had Roasted beets, Pork Belly, sword fish dish and Chocolate Pot de Crème desert all were to die for especially the main course swordfish I can not describe how great it was. My wife had Blue fin tuna, seared scallops and Halibut all of which was to die for. Wine is only sold by the glass and minimum selection but if what they pick is great then it makes the decision easy and it was. We were never rushed the whole night was just awesome. I have two small critiques and one is probably due to early season but the time between the last 2 courses was kind of long to be honest and Martini glasses are very small. Overall this is an A+++ restaurant!

This Inn is an absolute gem' the caring staff was dedicated to making our experience a memorable one. The dining room is a sophisticated and relaxing place to take in the serene and gorgeous view of the Atlantic. On this night we also enjoyed the sounds of a wonderful pianist playing his jazz renditions of great songs I love. It all comes together with detailed attention to and respect for excellent American Cuisine along with wine pairings. Our selections included Bluefin Tuna Sashimi with avocado and mango purée, Spring Asparagus with blood orange pine nuts saffron aioli, Halibut and Duck Breast. Each were accompanies by scrumptious and creative compliments. The preparation was impeccable and flavors were supremely rewarding! Thank you to our hosts for a truly outstanding evening! We look forward to our return.

We have eaten at Ocean several times and the food has been outstanding every time. Every dish looks like a work of art on the plate, and every dish is a special and delicious combination of flavors and ingredients. Even the arugula salad had a unique and special taste, and was loaded with fresh spring vegetables. My swordfish dish with lobster sauce, shrimp and lobster ravioli was fabulous. The chocolate pot d' crème was a rich chocolate with bananas and ice cream, also fabulous. And did I mention the ocean view? We plan to return often to this gem of a restaurant!

We were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The dining room was lovely with a gentleman playing the piano. We were greeted by our server, Amanda with a glass of Prosecco. We had the Scallops in crème frache delicious. Lamb Mediterranean style and the Duck with blackberries. The suggested wine pairings were perfect. Desserts-Chocolate with bananas and the cheesecake were perfect. The view despite the overcast sky and fog was lovely..

I came here with a friend for the Easter pre fix menu. The view itself was worth the trip. Our server was sensational and gave great recommendations. We both loved all the courses and the service is top notch. I would highly recommend this and I can't wait to return. Thank you!
Visiting Kennebunkport for the first time so picking a restaurant was based on reviews and we were so happy we found this place as it did not disappoint. From the beginning to the end the experience was delightful. My girlfriends and I felt like we hit the jackpot. Our server Amanda was amazing. The food presentation was beautiful, not to mention delicious. The location was tucked down a road and you will not be disappointed with the views. This is a must for anyone visiting Kennebunkport.

My wife and I absolutely love dining at Ocean when we stay at the Inn. The staff are friendly and make the experience incredible. The food is outstanding and unique with an infusion of local fare but done in a very fine way. The menu is always fresh and changing making each visit a one of a kind experience.

On this night at the Cape Arundel Inn, we had the good fortune to dine at their restaurant, Ocean. It was a special night, as the offering was a four-course lamb centric menu, as you can see in the attached photo. Every course was perfection along with the wine pairing for each course. It truly turned out to be a five-star dining experience. Service that was provided by our waiter Brian was excellent. Also, they now have a grand piano in the dining room that contributed to the ambiance of the evening. We look forward to returning soon.
Honestly, one of the better meals I can remember in the last few years. Service was wonderful. The cocktails were unique, and the food was a 10 out of 10. Chestnut ravioli really stuck out to both my wife and myself. We will absolutely be back.
