Open table menu is not what they serve, I had a reservation for over a month coming from out of town and they had 2 appetizers 2 sandwiches and 2 dinners compared to online menu. So disappointing.
Food was pretty good, but service was definitely lacking. Our appetizers were brought without silverware (we ultimately had to go get it ourselves), and our drinks took 10 minutes longer than our appetizers to arrive. Our burgers were actually pretty good, but we could also hear that two other tables didn’t get their drinks after at least 10 minutes as well. At this point there were only about 4 tables seated too so it couldn’t really come down to being too busy, just forgetful...
Stripers Waterside at the Breakwater Inn is Kennebunkport’s hidden gem. As is the case in most places, staffing is often short, but the location, quality of the menu, and the kindness of the waitstaff make you feel like you are dining waterside at your own home. Pro tip: park behind the Breakwater Inn & Spa Building (127 Ocean Avenue) and walk over through the stone entry or beachside.
