We came in for lunch without a reservation, the hostess was able to seat us within a few minutes thankfully. Our server Andrew was very friendly and helpful with the menu, it did take quite some time for our meals to come out but overall was a great experience. Watermelon cosmo was great!

Such a delightful restaurant in Goose Rocks Beach! Grateful to have this wonderful restaurant locally. Sorry that it closes today for the season! It was quite energetic last night with a lot of people there!

The cold lobster appetizer was wonderful. Fantastic view of the ocean. Attentive service. Customers seemed to really enjoy being there

One of the worst dining experiences of my life and a total waste of $220 and an hour and a half (plus 45 mins there and back). We had a reservation here thinking that the food and ambiance looked nice and worth the drive down from Portland. We were dressy - obviously ready for a special dinner. Hostess sat my fiancé and I at a high top table right next to the bar. We are not normally the type of people to complain about anything at a restaurant, but in this case, asked if there was another table available that’s not by the bar…she gave us the only other table in the bar area, but at least it was bigger and not a high top so we took it. We waited another 20 minutes to get water or even put in a drink order. Over the next hour, while waiting way too long for both starters and mains to arrive, we watched a literal birthday party set up and gather right on top of us. The bar area completely filled up with the birthday party all around and on top of our table while we were eating dinner. We couldn’t even hear each other speak over the crowd and the weird, loud music that did not fit the restaurant in any way. In shock that they would sit us for dinner without warning us about the crowded and loud birthday party we’d be sitting in, we finally couldn’t stand it and asked our server for the manager. After watching the hostess chatting with guests for another 10 minutes, we had to ask a second person for the manager - and it turned out to be the hostess. She came over and didn’t even try to rectify or make the situation right. When I asked why she didn’t warn us, she just said she had no other tables when we arrived. I left behind half my meal so we could just get out of there. It’s never been made more clear to me that people do not care about their workplace or jobs as much as the apathetic staff in this restaurant.

During our four-night stay at The Tides Beach Club, we found ourselves irresistibly drawn back to their restaurant, not once, but twice, a testament in itself to its magnetic charm.

On both evenings, we were attended by Ruel, whose service embodied the art of hospitality: attentive without intrusion, polished yet warmly personable. His grace and professionalism elevated the dining experience to something truly memorable.

The cuisine was nothing short of exceptional, each plate thoughtfully composed, balancing coastal freshness with refined execution. Cocktails were crafted with precision, showcasing top-shelf ingredients and a deft hand behind the bar.

Set against the serene backdrop of the seaside, the restaurant invites lingering conversation and quiet indulgence. The Tides Beach Club Restaurant is not merely a hotel dining option, it’s a destination unto itself, and one well worth savoring.

We are back to Goose Rocks from San Diego traveling with friends and made a point of going to the Tides for dinner. The swordfish was delisish. But but if you want a taste of heaven which 2 of the 4 of us ordered...the Halibut with Lobster Chowder was devine. Bravo Tides. Andrew was excellent.

So far the absolute BEST lobster roll (connecticut style) in our 5 day quest for the Maine Lobster Roll! Lovely location, great food, great service. Definitely will be back

Service was very friendly but very slow coming to the table to check in food and clear dirty dishes. Dirty plates and drinks sat at table next to us for 20 minutes after people left. We skipped desert because it took so long for server to return after meal was done. Food was good but need more servers

Hello, Dinner of September 27, 2025. I have been a customer of the restaurant for more than a decade. Always had a very enjoyable experience, and we recommended the place to our friends. However, last year we were mixed about the service offered, but we gave the runner another chance this year. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Arrived early, seated on the terrace, we ordered appetizers. After 30 minutes, someone comes to tell us that they cannot make certain drinks because the mint is not fresh, and this without ever bringing the drinks that did not contain mint. It's time for the reservation. We go to the table and order wine and the meal. Someone comes back to tell us that the chosen wine is unavailable and offers an equivalent. No problem, but luckily we asked the price because it was 60% more expensive (Bravo for the equivalent). They bring all the starters at the same time as all the main courses. NEVER seen that in my life. And so on. Very disappointing.....

Our 3rd time at the Tides Club, and this time it was very disappointing. The service was inattentive (we had to ask for an additional spoon several time) and not very friendly. And do you really want your bread served with these awful tinfoil wrapped butter portions? No thanks, we won't come back for a while!

The server was kind and professional. We did not feel rushed at all. The food was hot and delicious. We were so thrilled that we found Tides online and decided to spend our Anniversary there.

Mussels were fishy smelling and tastingk, lobster was mushy, ginger ale didn't taste like ginger ale.

The filets were cooked perfectly and the local haddock special was amazing. The haddock was in a corn & lobster chowder that was generous with claw meat. Delicious. Great service and the Monday special for locals made the price right! We'll be regulars!

Wonderful staff. Beautiful location. Charming restaurant. Food was darn good but not superb. Excellent bartender

We came in to the bar Friday for lunch and everything was superb! We shared the tuna poke, fish& chips, and a filet. Everything was phenomenal! Drinks were amazing and our bartender (I believe Alyssa was her name) was the absolute best. Definitely will be returning soon!
