I just drove 1 hour to get there and 1 hour back. I have been to this establishment for years. My nephew worked here. I could never say enough good about it. However, today I was so disappointed. I drove there to get a cake for my daughter's birthday. The raspberry almond cake looked delicious. Very dissatisfied. Not sure if quality was poor because of the busy time of day or what. Sandwich was very small with little filling. Beach pea used to serve all their sandwiches in two halves (almost like two mini sandwiches), the sandwich we opened was very small and on one slice of sliced bread. It was our first time there and the woman behind the register was super short and not helpful. She couldn’t tell me what flavors they had for coffee. I didn’t see a sign so I asked and she just said the basic flavors. We wanted more than coffee but she made us so uncomfortable that by the time we were both able to put our coffee order in, we couldn’t go on. We walked out shaking our heads in disappointment because we had been looking forward to trying them.
