Not sure what happened to this iconic place, but I got the fish chowder and it was horrible. It wasn’t thick and creamy and tasted terrible and was overpriced. The lobster roll wasn’t that good either. I think the place was sold and the new management is clueless on how to prepare New England seafood. I shall never go here again.

We went as a family to have lunch. Overall service was quick and food tasted ok. However my 3 year old son now has food poisoning from their fried fish 8 hours later. I doubt we will be back as I don't want to risk it again.

We went to Bob's the other day for lunch and was surprised when we went to pay for the our clams and scallops basket 69.75. It was good but it's not worth going for lunch at that price. Last year for the same basket we paid 50.00. a lot of French fries in both baskets and scallops and calms scattered on top. For some reason I cannot add photos.

I haven't been here in 10 years and it hasn't changed! Still delicious and prompt service. Everyone is polite - and that radiates to the customers. Hope another 10 years don't go by before we go back ?Parking: Plenty of parking but it's such a popular lunch spot. Be kind to those in the parking lot!Kid-friendliness: Picnic tables are easy for kids and it's a fun atmosphere for them.

The clam chowder was probably the best we have had on the east coast (so far) loved that it was lighter and more broth than heavy cream. The onions, celery and potatoes complemented the clams and added to the chowder. We tried Lillians and Bob's clams, really just OK. The tarter definitely added flavor to both types of clams. Fried pickles were OK.Overall we visited and didn't get the "Guy" hype. I would take the chowder over the fried clams any day. We'd been looking forward to this part of our trip for a long time and are leaving underwhelmed.
The food here is amazing. I stop here everytime I'm passing through Kittery. Their food is delicious and fresh. The portion sizes are large and have a good flavor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The entire restaurant is very clean and taken care of very well. There is plenty of parking on either side of the restaurant.

Don’t order the Cajun fish fry if you’re expecting to taste Cajun seasoning. I placed an order to go and just went to eat it and don’t taste any Cajun seasonings at all. I called them thinking that maybe I have the wrong order or that they forgot to put the seasonings on, and all I was told was that they put the Cajun seasoning in the flour. That’s all they kept saying to me. I don’t taste any seasoning at all, so I don’t recommend ordering the Cajun fish fry. Truly disappointing

I was recommended this place by my brother when he visited. Decided to get the oyster poboy and it was great! Lots of oysters and the fries were crispy! Don't forget to grab a spicy tartar sauce. Fast service and nice eating area inside and out. Cheap for fresh seafood
