I don’t have much time during the trip. I decided to make a quick stop here. The lobster roll was tasty but it was a little bit too pricey. The scenery was incredible I am really enjoying while waiting for my food. Don’t forget to say hello to “Brownie” she is very naughty dog

Really great spot to enjoy fresh seafood and the ambiance of Portsmouth Harbor. Buoy Shack blends great food, friendly staff, and the added advantage of an incredible location. If you’re looking for a spot on your travels that offers a nostalgic experience, this is it. **Heaters on the open deck area were very comfortable

The food was just okay but the service was great. Our waiter was super nice. Four of us ate. We got a 6oz lobster roll with a side of bisque, a small bowl of lobster bisque (they had bread bowls on the menu but said they were out) so a small pack of crackers was served with it, a lobster BLT with fries, a lobster grilled cheese with fries, 3 ice waters with lemon and 1 coke. Our total was $155. We were traveling and stopped to grab lunch. It was okay but definitely wouldn't go again.

I was visiting Kittery, Maine from NYC and decided to try this place for seafood. Big mistake. The staff was rude and dismissive from the start. They refused to let me sit by the water for no reason and their attitude was awful.
I ordered a lobster roll with fries and fish and chips, and one of the staff actually asked if I’d be able to finish it all by myself. When I said, “Let’s see how much I can eat,” she replied, “It depends how big your stomach is.” When I asked why that even mattered, she snapped back, “I couldn’t care less.” Completely unprofessional.
The way they treated me ruined the experience. I’m never going back, even if I’m in Maine again. If they want people to enjoy coming here, they need to learn how to treat customers with basic respect.
I regret going there and wasting my money. The food was bad, the staff was rude and biased, and the whole experience was a complete waste.

Paid $87 for a lobster roll, fish sandwich, and kids cheeseburger takeout. Lobster roll was chewy and mostly inedible. Fish sandwich was salty and thin piece of fish. Cheeseburger absolutely dry and no condiments placed in bag. Fries were decent. First experience and won't be back.
Its was excellent! And loved the house made chips and caramelized onion dip. And the French fries were great too! We got to see the bridge rise for boats to go under which was a bonus.

great location, great views but wasn't impressed with the food. I had a 3 ounce lobster roll for $20+, they wanted $55 for a 6 ounce.😱 there was more roll then lobster and the roll was over toasted. The Cole slaw was right out of a bag and blah. The only good part was the blueberry margarita, but I think I overheard the employee say it was only 5%. They didn't offer whole lobster.🫤 Go for the view, maybe order a burger or hot dog.
