Tonight was our first time there since it reopened. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. The flavor was amazing. It was a wonderful portion. The waitress was great! We will definitely be back.
First time and it was spectacular. We had such a great meal and enjoyed every bite. The seasoning and quality of food was great. The service was wonderful. Such a delight. Lisa and Floyd
Great food, beautiful view. We had a jerk shrimp stir fry special that was incredible.
Jerk chicken was great. The service a bit slow but it was busy for a Sunday afternoon. I will go and try breakfast!

We used to stop here before or after the Common Ground Fair each year until they originally closed. We saw they had reopened, and decided to stop after this years fair. We 100% realize it's a busy weekend in that area, and we expected a wait and a limited menu. The menu was VERY limited, so I ordered the quesadilla and my significant other ordered ribs. He was never offered a side with the ribs. About 45 minutes later our food arrived. My quesadilla was cold and rubbery and his ribs just didn't taste very good to him. So we only ate a few bites. The waitress asked if we wanted a box, we said no, just the check. We were 100% willing to pay the bill and leave. No big deal, we don't make a fuss when we don't like something. The person waiting tables must have went to the cook. She came out with an attitude asked us "Well, what is wrong with it?" We said it was cold and didn't taste good to us. No we didn't want it remade or comped, we just wanted to pay and leave. No big deal. She, however snapped at us "Nope, just go head and get out, just go." In front of the other 6 tables of customers. So, we left, and will not be back. We live locally and usually we would have just tried again another day, but we won't bother. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Tried here for the first time. The first table we sat at had moths and other flying insects on the window sill. We moved to a different table and waited 20 minutes for a server to come to us. There were only 5 tables in use at the time. We finally ordered and waited another 20 minutes for breakfast. The food came out and the eggs were way overcooked and cold. The potatoes were just cooked, but again cold. We added onions to the home fries and they were cold and crunchy. The toast was dry and barely warm. We asked our server for butter but she never returned. I'm writing this on our way to another restaurant as we all left very hungry. Very disappointed in the new ownership.
Parking: Beware of the parking lot. Lots of holes and bumps.

Ridgetop restaurant is back and it is better than ever. New Management in a similar feel.
The food is good and so is the service.
Their old slogan was "best meals for miles" and it is indeed the case. The menu is somewhat limited but has all the country standards you would expect with the addition of an excellent jerk chicken. Soft serve and hard serve takeout window for ice cream. Hamburgers do not seem to be on the menu, but are often run as a special and they are excellent. I hope the menu expands a bit over time, but they have only been open for a few months. Glad to have them back!

Let me just tell you what a disappointment it was to go to this restaurant. I remember years back when it was open before the food was great the atmosphere was great along with the wait staff. We went today….we go in and seat ourselves, we wait at least 15 minutes before anyone even came over to offer us drinks….the waiter who looks like she’s 14 maybe 15 gets our drink orders brings them to us and forgets my mothers water…..we then proceed to wait well over an hour!!!! For our food. My husband ordered the French toast which looked like brisket sticks that were smeered in butter and fried on the grill. He was suppose to get a strawberry “syrup sauce” ya nope it was heated up jam and the “French toast” was dryer then a popcorn fart…. Our home fries were so cold and hard you probably could have thrown them at someone and knocked them out with it. Tell me why with not one but two cooks in the kitchen it takes that long for our food…and people came in after us, sat at the bar and yet were served before us…..57.60 NOT well spent…..what a shame this restaurant has become under new owner ship. Oh and the icing on the cake? The cook staff randomly out of nowhere brings us two small plates of watermelon. Kind of a oh here’s your I messed up watermelon….

Have eaten there 4 times this summer: 3 breakfasts and 1 supper. Had quesadillas twice and breakfast burrito once and ribs once. Large portions, friendly service and worlds best view. I recommend them highly. Ribs were fantastic.

This restaurant is a gem! I will definitely be back because there were so many things on the menu that sound delicious. Easily the best French toast I've had, and the curry tofu was so yummy. AND the coffee was nice and strong.
